I discovered my site takes longer to load and when I reported to HostGator my hosting company they advised that I install WP Widgets Cache plugin which I did and everything became ok, now very fast

I’ve been having trouble with the number of MYSQL queries, as the site is fairly heavy. Using this plugin reduced the number of queries to MYSQL for the widgets by 99! It also sped up the load time, reducing it by half. Site works better than ever and I would recommend this plugin to everyone. If you are using W3 Total Cache, this plugin just finishes the job for you.

Not usable with super cache plugin… I set 3600seconds ache time for widget and after reloading the page the widget are hidden… so I have to disable this plugin… but I gave you 4*, good idea but you must complete it!

Easy to use, and really handy. Used in combination with Widgets on Pages, you can easily cache much more than sidebars as well. And of course you can choose expire time for every single cache. Great!

I was having a really hard time on my site, possibly due to installing a bunch of plug-ins. Everything was slow, particularly when navigating my dashboard, to the point that I couldn’t edit pages without the site crashing! As soon as I installed this plug-in, the site was lightning fast. Seemed to work at first. However instructions for settings are missing. Author’s site doesn’t exist. After changing a setting, I was immediately logged out of the dashboard and couldn’t get back in for some time. 2/14/2013
