I really hope you can make a reverse version of this plugin in the future. Because it will be very cool if someone can post from the phpbb to wordpress ?? I don’t even know if that is possible by the way.

When I set up the options in WP2BB config panel, my site gets broken, only leaving the message “FATAL ERROR: Cannot redeclare class acm… line 24.”. That class is from PHPBB’s acm_file.php.

I have PHPBB-WP Bridge and a bunch of other plugins installed.

Is anyone using this plugin with newset versions of WordPress (3.2.1) and phpBB (3.0.9)? Does it work? Or is there any other plugin that would create new phpbb topics with each new post?

In the Topic message text for posts section there are a few shortcodes where you can enter in the post text {$post}, the title {$title} and the url {$purl}. It is possible we can create new ones? As I am using featured images in my posts and would like them to be copied over to my phpBB forum aswell. The code is <?php the_post_thumbnail(); ?>, would be grateful if someone could tell me how I can add it in

I cannot activate this plugin because it conflicts with another PHPBB plugin called wp_phpbb_bridge (https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/wp-phpbb-bridge/)

When I attempt to activate it, I get a Fatal Error:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class dbal in /home/ivegotk1/public_html/forum/includes/db/dbal.php on line 24

I suspect there will be more duplicate declarations as well.

It is very important for me to fix this – Any support would be highly appreciated.

Plugin works great when creating topics in my phpBB forum but unfortunately it conflicts with Another WordPress Classifieds Plugin (AWPCP) so bad it takes out the whole of my site with this error

I’m not fussed as I was thinking of creating a sub-domain for my classfieds instead as there are quite alot of issues with this plugin but just wanted to let anyone know.

I’m using WP2BB and I have some problems…

1/ When I use cross-posting, the new post isn’t display on the index.
2/ The post count of the poster isn’t incremented
3/ If there is BBcode in the post (on WP)it’s sent to the DB with UID etc but when I’m reading the post, the BBcode appears directly without interpretation)and I have to edit and send again if I want that the BBcode appear normaly

Any solutions ?

The plugin is excellent, and working good for me. But I want to suggest something to developer, becouse now we have to do it always manualy (maybe some kind of this option already exist, but I didn’t find it; in that case forgive me and, please, let me know):

The plugin in the forum-topic automatically put the blog-post title (if we select that option). So, it’ll be great if you could make this inserted title be shown as the link to the blog-post where it came from. It would be very practically for readers to find the whole blog post at the easiest way.

Cuz’ it has many bugs that are annoying for newer plugins…

The original author just wont show up and update this great plugin…
