On the front-end viewing while listing issues for a project there is a notice if there is not issues yet reported. Here is a snippet of the notice:

I am using a fresh install of WordPress and this plugin is the only plugin that is activated and the shortcode does not get parsed. I’ve switched between several of the native themes and the outcome is the same.
