Is there any way for a user to make changes to a composite product once it has been added to the cart? I can’t find any documentation and it seems if they change their mind on the options once they get to the Cart they have to completely remove the item and build it from scratch. Is there something there I’m missing? Any help is greatly appreciated!
]]>Hi I was asked to reach out to you from here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/different-browsers-show-different-pricing-for-componet-product/
for support help
The products I need help with are the only 2 composite products on the website. They use the plugin Yay Pricing:
https://www.muriellewinery.com/product/six-bottles-of-your-choice/
https://www.muriellewinery.com/product/twelve-bottles-of-your-choice/
The price for the composite product (6 bottles of wine) shows correctly as $108.00, but when I add 6 bottles to the Buy 6 bottles composite product in Firefox or Safari it adds all of them together as in this screen shot – the $108.00 composite price plus the separate bottles.
https://photos.app.goo.gl/jY9TzKNhGJDDecUr8
And when I do the same order in Chrome it looks like this: https://photos.app.goo.gl/fDNS8mdpsFryXiJw8
Can you please help?
When I deactivate YAYPricing and add 6 bottles to the cart (not using the deal of the day product) I get the full price of 6 bottles (which with YayPricing should be discounted to $108.00). The client wants the cart to trigger the deal of the day prices when 6 or 12 bottles total are in the cart. Deactivating the YaYPricing plugin helps the composite products to total correctly but not any random addition of 6 or 12.
Is there a way I can make the composite plugin and yaypricing work together?
Thanks
Brian

]]>Hi, since the latest update the strangest thing happens.
I have a standard shipping fee (7,25) and above a certain amount, let’s say 50,- shipping is free.
When people make an order which includes a composite product, this doesn’t work.
The people still see only the shipping fee of 7,25.
If they only choose non-composite products, it works fine.
My shipping settings within the composite products are: apply to whole composite.
My shipping settings within the product is shipment class : no class.
I’ve many customers who call me because they are confused or they don’t place the order at all.
please be so kind to assist.
Hi team,
Please assist, I have create a package with indivdual products however, using the logic that if I “include base pricing” then only with an item is increased or decreased then the total pricing will, however plugin takes base pricing + the total pricing of all items as the total amount. How do we avoid this?
Hi!
I want to create a step by step “build your own box” function. With the composite plugin you can add more options per product but I don’t see if you can build a step by step layout process.
Is this something that can be made with the composite plugin alone? Are more plugins needed for that?
Or it isn’t feasible?
My reference/benchmark website is this: https://babyboxy.com/pages/gift-kit
]]>Hi there, I had a look around the forum but couldn’t spot any relevant posts so apologies if I missed something. Basically, when I add products to a component, I want the drop down for the customer to be empty by default. It’s currently populating with the first product in the list.
I have not set anything in the “Default option” field, and I have Required set to Yes and quantity at 1. Source is set to Products Order by Default, and Selector interface is set to Default.
Thanks for any help.
EDIT: As it always goes, as soon as you contact support you figure it out on your own! I had missed the option in the plugin settings to allow “Option none” for required components.
]]>Am I correct in my understanding that all the front-end CSS & JS assets relating to this plugin only need to be loaded on WooCommerce product pages? Because currently they are being loaded globally, which is not good for performance unless there’s a good reason for it?
]]>We are encountering an issue with plugin, WPC Composite Products for WooCommerce, that we would appreciate your assistance with.
Issue Description: When creating a composite product, if one of the variation attributes of a single product has the value “0”, the product is marked as “unpurchasable” and cannot be added to the cart. This issue arises specifically when the variation attribute includes “0” as a value. Other variations work as expected, but this particular scenario is blocking the product from being added to the cart.
I have set up free shipping on the site for orders over 7500 RSD. I have a composite product that costs 990 RSD. When a customer adds just one of these products to the cart, free shipping is displayed even though the amount is less than 7500 RSD, which is the threshold for free shipping. However, when the customer adds 2 or more composite products, everything works fine, and shipping is calculated correctly.
Can you help me?
]]>In the plugin it is only able to put the universal discount amount of a smart composite to 0,0001%, I would like to put it at 0% and remove the text next to the price saying (saved 0,0001%). Is this possible somehow?
]]>Hello, I’m using your plugin on a site that is also using Min Max Quantity & Step Control for WooCommerce. I’ve set the plugin so that simple products can be bought in multiples of 6. Those same products are included in a composite product, which is supposed to let the user pick and choose one or more of each item. However the components are subject to the rules of min max quantity, and the user is forced to add multiples of 6 for each item. Is there a way to make the quantity rules not apply in the context of a composite product?
The only solution I can figure out is to make for each product a hidden copy that is excluded from the quantity rules, and use those copies as components instead of the original products, but this is not very viable and I wonder if there’s a better way to handle this.
Thank you, best regards.
Hi,
Thank you for creating such a useful plugin!
I am having an issue with the “Custom quantity” option for composite products.
I seems the custom quantity is multiplied with the number of added “main products”.
Example:
We sell bottles in boxes of 20. We have multiple colors of the corks, and would like the customer to have the option to add both red an blue corks (10 of each).
When adding 10 red corks and 10 blue corks, the number is being multiplied with the quanity of 20 (one box), and therefor there is this content in the cart:
20 bottles
200 red corks
200 blue corks
Is this a bug on my end, is this the planned logic, or might there be some configurations I am missing on my end?
Thanks in advance!
]]>I have messed with the settings here to hide the composite products, but nothing makes them hide on the cart page (they *are* hidden in the minicart)….meaning people can remove required items or add additional items that shouldn’t be able to be added. I have a bunch of the WPC plugins installed on my site, I don’t know if there any known incompatibilities with composite products? I also have the Update Variations in Cart plugin and it doesn’t do anything at all (having it activated does not affect the component products displaying in the cart). I assume something is incompatible but I don’t know what and it would be a pain to deactivate everything one by one to try and find the incompatible plugin….
]]>I have the free version of composite products installed. I have been experimenting with the module and so far looks good. One thing I have noticed is when I add products to a composite grouping there is nothing to show if an item is in stock or out of stock when customers are making a product selection.
The demo shows some items as “out of stock” and the item is greyed out so it cant be selected. I do not have this on out of stock items.
The setup I would like is for each product in the list of available products to show the current stock status with any “out of stock” items still able to add as a back order item. All simple products are set to allow back order and alert customer. Even to have the current stock of each item show when it has been selected would be good.
Thank you

]]>Hi,
We have a problem with the price shown in the cart total.
The composite products are set with the base price, (which is on sale price).
Since the last update (wp, woocommerce, the plugin), the price of the composite is no longer shown in the cart total, but the total of the regular price + the sale price.
We have tried to put a new price for one of the components and exclude the base price to alleviate the problem, but in that case the cart total does not reflect the new price, only the current price of the product.
You can see one of the composite here: https://bit.ly/4e1cAZ7
Could you please tell me what the problem could be and how to fix it?
Thank you very much, best regards.
Hello !
Among the products I sell, I have postcards for sale (20 different photos). Image 1, image 2, etc -> image 20. I want the customer to be able to choose the postcards he wants (e.g.: 3 postcards from image 2, 5 from image 7, etc.). When the customer gets to 10 postcards, he gets a discount. If he gets to 20, he gets a bigger discount, etc.). He can also choose 24 postcards or 36, etc. From 1 to 9 postcards there is no discount (only if 10 postcards). The following example is perhaps more telling: He chooses 15 postcards; he therefore gets a 10% discount on the 10 postcards and no discount on the next 5.
I use WPC composite for my postcard products. One component containing my 20 postcards (different images) or I also tried 20 components for each image). I have tried many plugins for price reductions, etc… But the result is always the same.
But these software (or even the composite WPC) always make me the same mistakes: If my client chooses for example 10 of image 1, 7 of image 4 and 3 of image 9, we arrive at 20 postcards right?
Well, it only makes the discount on image 1 (10 postcards) and not on the package which has 20 postcards).
In fact the reduction is only made in relation to each product and not on the package (the component I think).
Honestly I have tested many plugins and nothing to do! I do not want it to make the reduction on the basket because I sell other products that do not have a reduction.
Does anyone have a solution?
Thank you in advance.

]]>Hi,
I have a problem with the items on the order page in the admin panel.
I would like only the composite product to appear in the order window without the components of the set, because it affects the generation of invoices.
When I generate an invoice, several items appear on the document:
The accounting department does not accept such invoices.
In the plugin settings, I selected “Yes” in “Hide component products on order details”, unfortunately the components of the set are still displayed.
Please help me solve the problem.

Hi Community support,
I am using a plugin for discounts to implement a membership solution.
The discounts are correctly applied to ‘Composite Products’ and options, great! But …
The base price or regular price of the product, however, is not offered with the discount provided by the “Role and Customer Based Pricing for WooCommerce (Premium)” plugin.
I could include the base price in a fixed pre-selected option, but even then, the problem remains that the discount price is not displayed in the product overview.
I suspect that this behavior is due to the built-in discount mechanism of the “WPC Composite Products for WooCommerce” plugin. Would it be possible to add a toggle switch for this discount option?
Thank you in advance, and I’m already looking forward to your response or offer.

Hello the issue i am having is the original price of the item you are selling is visible and crossed out on the products page after you create the composite bundle. But the problem is i see no where to remove this original price that is crossed out as the issue is, lets say you have a new composite bundle that is priced at 57 dollars for example for three different products, but the crossed out price is showing a lower price,so the user will think the bundle used to be lower but now i just raised the price of the bundle. I would rather not have the original price there. How can i just remove it? Thanks

]]>Hello friends, I have a strange problem. I use it in my woocommerce. I have some product kits, and I would like to offer a discount on them.
We use “Exclude base price” because if we leave only the base price, each product will have a zero value in our payment system and the kit will be charged as a single product. However, we need the value of each product to be shown.
Ok, I leave “Exclude base price”, I put the price I want to appear on the product (ex 20), and in discount I put 10%.
For a few minutes, the value of the product shows me the base price that I entered in the “Price” field, as that was what I wanted: to show the value already with the discount. However, after a few minutes, the product returns to the full value of the products, including changing the “Price” field to the full value of the products. The full price also appears in the cart, without the 10% discount.
Can someone help me?
I have a site with a dark background and pale text….is there a way to modify the background colors for the ddslick drop downs and alerts? As it is now, the background for the drop downs as well as alerts comes up white on my dark background, but the text is still pale so, at least for the alert, the text can only be seen by hightlighting it.
