As of February 5th, we have decided to stop all development on the Event Ticketing plugin.
If you would like to take over development of the plugin, please let me know.

https://ultimatestrategicspeakingsystem.com/the-system/register/
Any idea as to why? I inserted the shortcode [wpet] as normal, exactly the same in both instances. Old theme is Startup, current theme is Avada.
As the theme developer doesn’t support issues with individual plugins, they’ve directed me to you. I hope you can help — this was perfect for our needs, but we had to switch from the old, buggy theme due to many defects and problems — but this plugin worked on it!
Thanks for your help.
]]>Are there options for payment besides PayPal? Like Authorize.net? If not will that be a future option?
]]>I have tried Goggling forums so far to find a solution to my problem below, and though I came across a lot of different ticketing plugins compatible with wordpress and woocommerce, it is still unclear to me if any of them does what I need them to. They seem to be limited in the variations.
I run a business selling race driving experience vouchers and tickets. We have few products with different names and price tags and I’m looking for a suitable plugin that work with woocommerce to create and send tickets to the customer upon purchasing.
Typically I would have a Product let’s call it “Gold Ticket“. Because our events happen in different locations around the country, the buyer will need to be able to choose the “location” closest to him/her. But because we travel to each of those locations much like a circus, we can only be at one location ant any one time, therefor the “event dates” change with the location. Now as if that’s not enough variations, we also would like to be able to offer two more variations to chose from. The first one is the option of the “car model/type” which thankfully does not change the pricing of that product, and last but not least a time slot of choice/available during the day so they don’t wait all day around for their turn.
Once they are done ordering I would like to have an automation that sends a custom design ticket with a unique identification number via email to the customer. On the day of the event I will need to print a list of all these completed orders (hat are paid for) which ideally will be sorted by location and or date and time and would also include the unique numbers and some details of customer so we can tick them off at the door on the day of the event.
So just to recap.
1 – Product name
2 – Variation 1: Location
3 – Variation 2: Date
4 – Variation 3: Time (set maximum # bookings per hour )
5 – Variation 4: Type of car
Once paid for, send email with ticket that has unique id
PS. variations 2 + 3 (date and time) can be combined into one variation if necessary as there is an induction time also, so the date could be split into 3 time slots (morning, midday, afternoon)
I hope someone can shine some light on this for me, and point me to a plugin that can do this, and possibly some instructions on how it can be structured.
Thanks
Ed

]]>How can I give to Editor Role Users, the permission to use the plugin? (add coupons, se attendees…)
https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/wpeventticketing/
]]>I was hoping this would allow me to set up multiple events, but it hasn’t been coded into this plugin yet ( at time of writing this)
However it was suggested by John at the help desk that I go about it like this.
—————–
We have seen people use our plugin for running multiple events. They typically create a single ticket type and then create one package for each ‘event’. So, package 1 would be named “event name – July 1”, then package 2 would be named “event name – July 8”, etc, etc.
Then, on the attendees page in the admin area you could export the list from the specific package to get the list of who should be showing up for which event.
One thing to be careful of though, you will have to set the max attendees (on the settings page) to some really high number because all packages will add up to go against that total.
—————-
While this isn’t ideal, it did the trick. So when you add the short-code of [wpeventticketing] the Page will list all the packages you have created.
Maybe sure while you are testing that you put a ‘Start’ Date before today’s date so it will show and then change it to another date later if you dont want to sell the tickets yet.
Also make sure if you want a particular order of the packages then you put the first event in first and last event last. Otherwise there seems to be no way to change them around.
Hope this helps

]]>Hi,
I would like to know if it is possible to use another currency than the ones available for Paypal.
In my case, I need to show the prices with the XPF currency (French Polynesia). The rate change between Euro and XPF is always the same :
1€ = 119 XPF
I just need to show the prices in XPF on the website, then on Paypal, client would see the price in Euro.
Thanks in advance.

]]>I have had about 15 out of 80 guests notify me that they are unable to purchase tickets to the event through paypal or with the use of a credit card.
This seems strange to me as I continue to have tickets sold almost every day but then again I continue to get notification that they have tried multiple time to compelte the transaction without success. Specifically, when they proceed to the the paypal order confirmation page and press “continue” it brings them back to the host website with the event ticketing pluging instead of the Thank You page. Subsequently, the transaction is never proceesed and no confirmation emails are sent out.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

]]>I am somewhat new to this game, so I figure I am making a silly error somewhere along the way …
I followed all the instructions to get the PayPal API info and create the tickets and packages, but when I create a page and insert the short code, all I get is a page with the short code on it.
Just the title of my page and the text of the short code.

]]>I have not yet downloaded this plugin yet, as I am still trying to find a Word Press plugin that I can use with my PayPal account to sell tickets online. I need to be able to do the following:
– Payment goes through my PayPal account
– Show multiple buttons on the same page
– Set the “quantity available” for each button (i.e. there are no more than 10 tickets available for each button)
– The customer can only buy 4 tickets or less
– Display “sold out” when all 10 tickets have been purchased
– Send an email to the purchaser (the email content would be different for each button, displaying specific information based on what they purchased)
Is this something your plugin can do? If so, can you show me the tutorial/steps on how to do so, so I can be sure before downloading and setting up your plugin?
If I were to have any problems with this plugin, how quick in the response time? Because this is for a business, it is very important that the plugin does not fail or can be resolved quickly.
Thank you in advance!

how to get it fixed, please…
When a user purchases multiple tickets, the plugin only allows the input of one set of additional information on the screen that
displays when they return from PayPal. We need for it to display for once for each ticket purchased, i.e. if 4 tickets are purchased
then the screen should display 5 times – once for each ticket.
