I am using WP Globus and recently, pages and posts won’t save the content of the {:en} {:} tags inside the wordpress editor. They do however save what is inside {:de} {:}.
So on the same page I can edit the text inside the English and the German translations. And only the German paragraph gets saved. the English one stays the same as before.
I have updated wordpress and the plugin, I have disabled all plugins and am using the default theme. However the issue reoccurs constantly.
Please help me with this problem!

Over the years, I have put a lot of work into translating two sites, one with two languages (gb and fr), which runs well, although a little slower after adding the second language.? The second site with three languages (gb, nl and id), has always been slower, although still acceptable on the front end, but now has become very slow on the Admin/back end – sometimes minutes before the page finishes refreshing after an edit.
I am using WordPress 6.4.3 and PHP 8.0 and have several other single language sites on the same server with no similar issues. I have checked/deactivated plugins and tried various cache plugins, played with cron and transient settings, but nothing has helped. The worst issue is that after editing the three languages on a page and updating, it can take minutes to refresh to the page and return to the page with the three language tabs. Before the refreshing complete all three languages sometimes appear in are in the gb window. The page titles are also be repeated {:gb} ….. {:}{:nl ….. {:}{:id} ….. {:} multiple times. Often after editing, updating and checking that the front end is ok, some of the updates have simply disappeared when opened at a later time.
The site is not commercial and is used to provide information with a lot of images and text. It would be a nightmare to have to rebuild it and I am hoping for some pointers to find what is causing the problems so I can continue to use WPGlobus.

It’s maybe relevant to mention that the site we’re having this problem with runs two wordpress sites: one is the backend which we use to add content and the other is the user facing side.

I have made a fix for Weight Based Shipping Plugin and because the WooCommerce plugin is a payed plugin I have sent an email to you with the fix.
It would be really awesome if there would come some sound from anyone of you developing this really awesome plugin on the status of the project. Not only because of the plugins themselves but even for any paying customer.

]]>I am not sure if you are aware, but after latest elemntor updates, i get a critical error when trying to edit any page with elementor. I disabled plugins one by one and identified the conflict to be with wpglobus. Also, i activated debug and this is what it says:

We have 2 languages on our site.
English(NZ) – default

We have translated some pages and posts using the plugin. But for some reason the translation is swapped like the content on CA is visible in NZ and NZ content is visible in CA. Not just content Internal links are also swapped.
We have updated the plugin to resolve the issue if the older plugin makes this issue but the plugin update does not work.
We are also using the WPGlobus Plus plugin for translation. Could you please advise me on this and give a solution for this issue?

We tried to work it with All In One SEO but it showed these shortcodes there too. Please guide us if there is any way that it can work with All In One SEO or WP SEO Framework plugin.

Therefore, even though I am a paid user, I am re-posting the request I sent to him, on the assumption that he will ignore it like he did my previous 5 emails.
I used to have a way to edit slugs, using WP Globus Plus, and now this panel has disappeared. When I disable the module for translated slugs, in the WP Globus Plus options, then return to the page editor, there is a panel that says “WP Globus” and it says to go back to that options page to enable slugs. When I enable it, the panel disappears completely. I still have slugs in place for some pages, from when this worked, but now it doesn’t. How do I get my slug panel back?

I have a page with many images using the native WordPress gallery.
I use two translations on the site.
On the Admin Media Library page, I added captions to each image and the translations for the two other languages. I did this one by one and updated each image page with the captions. Each page appeared to have saved correctly.
When I opened the web pages, the captions were shown in the three languages under each image in the coded format on each page,
e.g. {:gb}July 22 – 1{:}{:nl}22 juli{:}{:id}22 Juli{:}
I have had similar issues before, but usually they are corrected by re-entering the text and saving, however, deleting, repeating and updating does not fix the problem. How can I prevent this from happening and just get one language on each page.

so in this case yoast section not changing and texts remain same for all languages and by saving post all meta become common for all languages
if I use something like {:en}EN{:}{:ru}RU{:}in yoast fields, they work like it should on the website, but I need to save it like this each time I do any small changes
P.S.: I also tried to open custom posts with &language=ru in URL but it not work, using #tab-ru in URL opening RU version but also save will overwrite yoast meta fields with only RU version
Any suggestions on how to fix this issue are welcome
It seems that with YOAST SEO and redis-cache only the last version of yoast seo title is saved, i.e. on an article with 3 languages only the version in the last saved language is kept.
Could you investigate on this problem?
As a workaround I need to deactivate redis cache, but this is not a solution.

it seems that there is a new bug, introduced since 2.12.2 or 2.12.1.
With Yoast SEO (last or previous versions) saving in 2nd language will overwrite also main lang.

I’ve been emailing support about my question with no response, so I thought I’d try here.
On my client’s site, it was possible to switch between the two languages via Elementor instead of using the Classic Editor. But now that they’ve added more languages, 5 in total, not all the languages can be clicked on in the Elementor panel anymore. For instance, even though they’ve added Portuguese, it’s not there as an option, and when you try to click on Spanish, it doesn’t work; instead, you end up clicking on Exit Page.
Here’s a screenshot of what I’m talking about.
Is it possible to fix this? Because we would prefer to only use Elementor to switch between the language pages since Classic Editor can have a negative impact on SEO.
