This nifty plugin is now outdated, but worse, it’s broken.
Hope the dev will restart this project someday.
I am running WP QR-Code Generator Version: 0.2.6 on WP 3.9.1. I just began receiving a “Failed to load resource: net::ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT” error message related to the https://encode.qrtool.de/encode?ct=qr&fg='.$color_p.'&bg='.$background_color_p.'&size='.$size_p.'&level='.$level_p.'&margin='.$margin_p.'&data='.urlencode($qr_url).'&apiid='.$myDomain.'&stype=wpqr&hash='.$hash.'
link in the wpqr_qr-code-generator.php file. The plugin no longer generates a QR code. Just a link back to your site.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks,
David

So is there a way to source/cache the images locally instead of serving with img src="https://qrtool.de/getQr.php?......." ?
