Development on the plugin is active and we’ve always received 5 star customer service any time we’ve had a question.

I’ve had amazing support from Andrew. He has helped me with an out of the box question (showing that orders are from ShopWP app as separate from the ones made on the Shopify store/site). He was incredibly helpful and kept at it until we worked out a fix (and he’s even going to update the plugin!).
Personally I have had no problems with the app at all. I’ll upgrade to the Pro for the auto sync but the free version has synced well and the cart seems to also work well for us.
Thanks Andrew!

Very fast and seamless install of ShopWP Pro. However, when the rubber met the road, we ran into a sync issue. We reviewed all the documentation on errors, but none applied. We reached out to support and within a couple of hours Andrew contacted us. He worked with us continuously and resolved the matter quickly. Great customer support and an amazing experience!

Quick setup with a lot of customisable options. Support by responsive slack channel and good documentation.

Many merchants want the CMS benefits of WordPress, but the dedicated ecommerce functionality of Shopify. It took us years to find a good way to integrate the two together, and the team behind ShopWP has, by far, done the best job.
While the original functionality was exactly what we were looking for, it has continued to evolve, maintaining the ‘never settle’ attitude that keep both WP and Shopify in their respective industry leads.
And we would rank support – for both responsiveness and effectiveness – towards the top of the list of all third party services we have used in 24+ years of web development.

Set up was easy. Andrew was super helpful in providing answers to the questions that I had. Fairly quickly too!

I’m a developer using ShopWP for my clients. We started with the free version in 2020. Setup was easy and we were connected to Shopify within minutes. When we we did run into issues, Andrew was very helpful. ShopWP works as promised. The plugin is updated regularly with valuable features and fixes. We moved to the Pro version last year — glad we did. Besides the expanded features, having access to the private Slack channel is a real bonus for responsive support and development ideas from the community there. I work with startups and don’t often recommend premium plugins. ShopWP is one I can recommend without hesitation.

Plugin works as intended and if there are any issues, their support is always thorough and exhaustive in their aid. If you wanted any changes made to the plugin, Andrew is helpful and will try his best to make it happen.

We were racking our brain trying to figure out the issues on our site, and why our products were not integrating properly from Shopify. In a short while, SHOP WP chat quickly found the solution for us. We are very pleased with this experience and will certainly be upgrading with SHOP WP. 5 stars!

On the admin side this plugin is easy to set up and use but full of great options. On the front end it displays your products in a clean, simple responsive layout that just works.
Occasionally there is a glitch lately where it doesn’t show the products in your shop but if that happens just sync the products again, clear the cache and it should work again.
Also, the author responds to support requests — even for the free version — really quickly and even provided me with sample code to add a feature. How cool is that?
5 glorious stars!

A really nice solution for easily syncing Shopify product catalog into a headless WP I setup.
And very great service from the developer!

My agency installed ShopWP in Jan 2022 for an ecommerce client and it has been surprisingly full of features including custom collection filters, product details page options, ability to pull in Shopify apps with an API connection, and soon coming: product recommendations and wishlist. The ShopWP team responds immediately and has had several calls with us as we ask “Crazy idea, is this possible?” and the answer is typically yes. Highly recommend for anyone building a Shopify site with a WordPress user interface.

They never ever get back to you. If you have questions, need help, whatever, just completely ignore you — even when you point it out to them, and they state they will return your email, they don’t. Would not recommend.

I have really liked this plugin over the past few years, however, no more. I had a complete project 100% ready to. Just needed to update one plugin. ShopWP! After updating the plugin I see that they have removed the feature that allows you to sync collections. The previous version had this feature, therefore, it was active on the website.
With the new update, that feature is now removed and all sections reference the collections now do not work.
The client was pissed and all I could do is refund the project as we had already spent days getting all the shortcodes to work.
I no longer recommend this plugin. Just setup a shopify account and avoid the headache I just went through.

The software was working until the last upgrade and now is no longer synching. I have emailed customer support 3 times with no answer. Other people are having the same issue. The software is buggy. I would not purchase until they have this sorted out.

I like the app and how easy things are to do. The problem is that it hasn’t been updated in 4 months. It’s not entirely compatible with the current version of WP. With that, the (incredibly helpful) video tutorials are out of date. They’re still useful, but you have to fill in some blanks.

I just published my first site for a client using this plugin and it delivered beautifully. Andrew has been with me, either in spirit or in his actual responses to my calls for help along the whole process.
It is obvious that he cares about the folks using his plugin and works constantly to solve every issue.

We’ve been using this plugin (PRO) for over a year now, and although it’s not without its quirks and quarks, the plugin does its job to sync products to WordPress and the cart system integrates nicely into your theme. Early on we had issues with the automatic sync, but the plugin has been updated heavily since we first used it and, to my knowledge it is working as intended. I see some reviews harp on the syncing functionality, so I am simply stating our experience.
I would recommend that you have a good knowledge of PHP and Javascript before using this plugin. The “dropzones” are a bit unorthodox when digging into the installation process, but make sense once you understand it. We went with creating our own PHP templates using the WP Shopify factory system, which seems to do a good job.
Some features are not possible to achieve, so I would reach out to support if you have any specific, non-standard features. For instance, we wanted to limit a product to only 1 purchase per cart, and it was not possible to achieve this out of the box. You cannot leverage Shopify addons for functionality in your WordPress install as the plugin operates (mostly) 1-way via the Shopify API. So again, if you need to customize some of this functionality you will have to get creative.
The storefront shortcode might not be quite what you expect. We were able to build our own storefront (with collection filtering, etc.) using the available functionality in this plugin.
Andrew appears to be the sole developer behind this plugin. I’ll never understand how the guy has time to both develop the plugin AND provide support; however, any instance that we have needed support he has come through. Do not expect overly quick support, but provided your concern is legitimate, he will come through for you. Much of the support requests in the Slack channel are either non-plugin related or are outlined in the documentation. I suspect some of the 1 star reviews are coming from these situations, but from what I have seen, he has been more gracious than not in answering these questions while providing legitimate support to plugin related issues.

After trying a couple other ideas, the WP-shopify connected smoothly, and when we had questions about dark theme css the author not only described what to do, but actually provided the code for our site..
Service is what makes a quality plugin and Andrew goes the extra mile.

This is exactly the plugin I needed for my client’s site. The setup is easy, they have very clear documentation and it works right out of the box, if you set it up correctly the first time (oops).
I did have an issue where I entered the URL to my shopify store incorrectly. They answered my topic in the forum very quickly and it’s running like it should. Support is crucial for me when evaluating a product, and they do it well.

Our goal was to have our Shopify store on the same domain as our WordPress site for SEO purposes. Our web developer suggested we use this app as on paper it looked good. Unfortunately, the app does not work as it should, the product/collection sync would never finish syncing, always get stuck on about 90% and the collection descriptions would not sync over to WP. Also, every time we would sync from Shopify to WordPress the app would duplicate all the products and collections again in WP, so we ended up with 10-20 of the same product/collection which was very confusing and ended up causing listing errors and wasted time in trying to fix. After one manual sync, every product on our store ended up linking/redirecting to the same product. Our web developer ended up having to restore our website (our website was down for hours) and resulted in lost sales and dollars.
We paid extra for the “Pro” version with dedicated support through the private slack channel – what a joke – the link for the slack channel goes nowhere and the only way to get in touch with support is through the WP forums. Our web developer emailed the app creator with no reply, and posted a couple of posts on the forums to try and reach support. One post was replied to after days of waiting and the other post about how to access the the dedicated support “private slack channel” has still not been replied to from 7 weeks ago. It became apparent to us that WP Shopify is a one-man band and unfortunately Andrew (the app creator) offers his Pro customers poor support.
Over 6 weeks ago we informed by Andrew a patch would be released within a couple of days to fix the issues we were experiencing – the patch was not released within a couple of days or weeks, and to the best of our knowledge, has still not been released. We were left with a crippled e-commerce site and couldn’t make any updates for months as we waited for the patch to be released. We made an executive decision to not rely on this hopeless app/support any longer. We removed WP Shopify and setup our Shopify store on a separate domain – which is much more stable and causing us no more unneeded headaches. Do not waste your time and money with this app.

Wow! I was about to create ads for my travel sites that would bring visitors to my Shopify site and then thought, hmmm, I wonder if anyone has a plugin to create a store on my WordPress site. Sure enough, here it is. It looks so good on my three travel sites that get much more traffic than my new shop. Yay! And support was quick and helpful. And this is with the free plan! I am going to review the premium plan to see if I should upgrade asap.
