I am getting this red notice I don’t understand:
The WPSSO Social Sharing Buttons version 4.5.0 add-on requires WPSSO Core version 6.24.0 or newer (version 8.11.2 is currently installed).
Also “Visit plugin site” -> error 404
Thanks
There seems to be a conflict with this plugin with Vlog Theme https://themeforest.net/item/vlog-video-blog-magazine-wordpress-theme/15968884 – one of the social media icons is showing huge on the cover of the theme of each post so distorting the whole cover of each post. I have had to deactivate the plugin unfortunately. Its a pity because it looks like a great plugin

]]>The SSB widget title (“leave blank for no title”) sets “Share It” despite I left it blank.
Solution: delete the widget; create a Text widget with a shortcode
]]>Hello,
I see SSB and RRSSB have some common settings. Having both active if I uncheck FB from one of them the other is also unchecked.
I have both because SSB has a FB Like button while RRSSB does not
What I want to accomplish is
1) to have a widget with two small SSB buttons (done via shortcode)
2) to have at bottom of posts only a small SSB FB Like/Share button
This can be done also using shortcode manually for each post. Example
Maybe it can be automated if I can place it before FB comments (another plugin – I don’t know how to change the order of the plugin outputs)
3) to have RRSSB buttons at bottom in the place they are now or maybe above FB Comments if I knew how to change place order.
Because of the common settings I added a css
.content-area .wpsso-ssb-content {
display:none;
}
to hide SSB buttons below RRSSB ones this time

]]>Hi, I can not find a way to put the social icons vertically instead of horizontally in the side bar? Can you give me some tips?”
]]>Hi,
I replaced NextGEN Facebook plugin with WPSSO Core + WPSSO Social Sharing Buttons plugins on my test site t.petrdiblik.cz.
Unfortunately the new plugins ignore the “Like and Send (default)” value in the “Button Type” option: If this value is selected, the sharing button appears as if the “Share” value was selected.
For comparison, my other site https://www.mozaikar.cz with NextGEN Facebook plugin shows the sharing button correctly.
AFAIK, all related settings are identical on the 2 sites.
I enabled “Add Hidden Debug Messages” on both sites.
Language note:
To se mi líbí = Like
Sdílet = Share
What can I do to make it work, please?
]]>Yesterday my buttons were fine, then there is an update to the plugin and I’m getting duplicate sharing buttons. Anyone know how to get rid of 1 of them (preferably the large ones).
]]>Useful plugin BUT SO SO intrusive.
I can’t post images in here, but WHY does you plugin need to display multiple messages about checks it has done and take over about 50% of the space above the top of posts?
It’s the most annoying plugin we use. Why can’t all of this crap be turned off for administrators the same as it can be for other user roles?
Seriously? One massive SSSO Note about an image being ignored and then a smaller message saying EXACTLY the same thing, but without all of the tips about adjusting, enabling, and increasing.
Very distracting, annoying and the stuff that promotes to the top of the list for removal.

I’m more of a designer than a developer so forgive me if this should be obvious, but I cannot get any of the share buttons to show up on my product pages. ]]>StumbleUpon Badge is not working with the latest StumbleUpon official Badge code update.
The developers of this plugin need to update their code for StumbleUpon Badge to work again. See https://www.stumbleupon.com/dt/badges/create for the correct StumbleUpon Badge implementation method.
There are list bullets appearing inside and outside the buttons because of this:
.entry-content ul > li {
list-style-type: disc;
}
Removing the button requires unchecking it using firebug and probably could have an entry of list-style-type: none;
]]>hey guys,
i have been testing the free version and it looks great – one problem i’m having though – thought you might have some solution for it (couldn’t find any in the relevant documentation)
when i share content from site using the whatsapp icon it opens the whatsapp application, allow me to choose the recipient and then doesn’t send anything – simply moves me to the conversation with that recipient on the whatsapp app. any ideas?
Big up on this plug !

WPSSO Pro Version 3.28.3
WPSSO SSB Version 2.2.1
Wordpress 4.4.2
Here is a link to an example post with the problem:
https://www.dynamicwingtsun.net/redbird-wing-tsun-new-kung-fu-club-isu/
I read the FAQ regarding similar issues and I have verified that the example post has a large enough image attached to the post (and included in the post). In fact, the image is 1600×2400. Here is a link to that image:
I have verified that the srcset for the image in the source code includes an exactly correct resized image that is 800×1200. Here is a link to that resized image:
I have even made sure I explicitly specified the Image ID on the Select Media tab for the post to use the correct image and verified in the Head Tags tab that it says it should use this in the head tags:

I temporarily enabled Add Hidden Debug Messages and got this message:
WpssoSsbSharingPinterest :: get_html : exiting early: pin_use_img enabled but no photo available
The problem began approximately 2 updates ago. Strangely, on my dev site the Pinterest Pin It buttons show. The dev and production sites are on the same versions of everything, but the dev site is a couple posts behind and I updated the two sites separately rather than migrating from dev to production for these last updates.
I suspect that the problem occurred because I got the plugin update notice on the production site (a couple versions back) for the WPSSO SSB plugin before getting an update notice for the WPSSO Pro plugin. I updated the WPSSO SSB plugin and then got an error or warning that it required a newer version of the WPSSO Pro plugin. So I searched for updates to WPSSO Pro and found and installed the new update. But it was after having updated WPSSO SSB. And stupidly, I did that all first on the production site without thinking that I should do it on the dev site first. When I later updated the dev site, I did that in the correct order, first updating WPSSO Pro and then updating WPSSO SSB. The Pinterest Pin It buttons show on the dev site.
I even tried disabling, uninstalling and reinstalling WPSSO SSB on the production site and still have the same problem. Can you please help me fix this, hopefully without losing all of the work I put into customizing the WPSSO info for all posts and pages and all the likes and +1 counts? Thanks.
]]>Since upgrading the latest version of WPSSO Pro/WPSSB Pro last night, the buttons have been sporadically loading either nested on top of eachother, or overlapping eachother.
Apparently, according to the developer, this is because W3TC is switched on on the website.
Has anybody else experienced issues with the latest version? It’s not happened to me before.
Buttons are completely messed up on some pages, and no amount of clearing the cache or clearing the CDN seems to make any different. Do I really have to delete the W3TC to get this to work?
]]>This forum is meant to provide community-based support for the Free version of the WPSSO Social Sharing Buttons (WPSSO SSB) extension plugin for WPSSO. If you would like direct and timely support from the WPSSO SSB extension plugin author, you may purchase the Pro version here https://wpsso.com/extend/plugins/wpsso-ssb/. The Pro version enables all Pro features and allows you to open a support ticket at https://wpsso-ssb.support.wpsso.com/.
When opening a new thread or support ticket, two pieces of information are absolutely essential:
* A URL to an example front-end webpage showing the problem.
* A description of the problem on that specific webpage.
Have you checked the FAQs and notes?
The documentation sections at https://wpsso.com/codex/plugins/wpsso-ssb/ includes answers to most questions, along with additional notes on setup, integration, etc.

]]>The Facebook like and share buttons rarely show up on articles on our site https://yournewswire.com
Sometimes they do, sometimes they don’t. When they do, they are usually very slow in loading.
Also, the “like” button seems redundant. It doesn’t show the number of likes an article has… unless i’m missing something?
Here is an example: https://yournewswire.com/mainstream-press-admit-conspiracy-theorists-are-right/
The loading of the facebook buttons are very temperamental. Sometimes clearing the cache temporarily helps.
