When I change my username, this is the message I get:
Your username was changed to . Please log in again with this username now.
The username is blank. Why not use $new_nickname instead of $user_login in the code for this message?
It would be nice if the Admin could change any user’s username. Right now I have to go in and change the password for the user, and login as them in order to change their username so that it displays something better in the URL for authors. I do not want author’s changing their own username, just me.
Other than the extra steps, it worked fine though. Just a lot of steps to change one of your user’s usernames.
