I’m attempting to use the Weather Underground plugin to display current weather condition on my website. I have downloaded the most current version of the plugin and activated it. I’m initially trying to use it as a widget in the footer of my page. I’ve loaded it and I’m using the canned configuration that pops up when you place the plugin in the widget. However, it cannot find my location (city, st) nor can it find my personal weather station that has its own code on Wunderground. When I try to load the location in the configuration the indicator continuously spins while it appears to be searching. It never comes back with a find.
]]>Hi,
I understand that this plugin no longer works (with 5.4) but I am finding it very difficult to source an alternative plugin – and I have tried lots. All I want is something that is simple to use, comes as a shortcode and is very adaptable. I’ve finding I’m going down a myriad of different paths – most of them including creating an api with non of them in the end actually doing what I need which is:
– weather for today and the next 3 days, giving details of temp, general conditions, wind speed
– the ability to drill down to a postcode in Australia
Basically everything that Weather Underground did.
Many thanks,
Paul
I also, just started having this error. Nothing has changed on my site.
]]>I am getting the text “There was an error fetching the forecast: invalidkey” in the sidebar where the widget is supposed to be. In the settings, under the “Location” section I enter the desired zip code and there is a search animation, then the zip code and city name show up, so I assume that means that I have entered a valid location, but the error doesn’t go away. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin. Ensured I am using the latest version (2.1.3).
]]>Hi,
There is an issue with WPML multilingual widget. Weather was shown on several pages, each in its own language.
I’m getting this error:
Warning: count(): Parameter must be an array or an object that implements Countable in /home/****/public_html/wp-content/plugins/sitepress-multilingual-cms/vendor/twig/twig/lib/Twig/Extension/Core.php on line 1262
Basically I cannot use the plugin anymore (Government website). Should I replace it with some other or this issue can be solved?
Thank you!

]]>Hi,
This is my favorite weather plugin, but it hasn’t been updated in over 2 years. Any chance there is an update coming soon?
I’d hate to have to remove it from my site.
Thanks.

]]>The plugin states the locations will autoload. We have locations all over the US and in the United Kingdom. I have asked folks in these different locations and they tell me the weather is not accurate for their location, it appears to only be pulling the location I am in.
Is there a way to fix this? I expected initially that the weather would automatically populate if I left the city/area out?
]]>Folks:
I haven’t touched anything on Weather Underground but I’m getting “Tomorrow is forecast to be Much Cooler than today. Snow showers developing late tomorrow night.” on every forecast.
It makes my 10 day forecast look a tad foolish.
Anything you can do to help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

]]>“Today is forecast to be Much Warmer than yesterday. Cloudy with rain.”
I’m getting this line on each forecast.
I haven’t touched the plugin.
Any help on this greatly appreciated.
cheers and thank you in advance.

]]>The plugin works beautifully and shows the correct temperature at my location, except when you click on the Weather Underground logo at the bottom of the widget, this redirects to my location but has the incorrect location title.
]]>Haven’t touched Weather Underground at all but I’ve lost all my forecasts and am getting “Location Can’t Be Found.”
Haven’t touched anything on the site at all except publishing regular posts.
Should I wait for Weather Underground to fix it or try to fix it myself.
I’ve tried various things but none have work. I think it might be on the Weather Underground side of things.
Thank you for your help in advance.
cheers

]]>Instead of the forecast for each day … I’m getting the sentence. “Today is forecast to be Warmer than yesterday.”
It comes up everyday … whether it is warmer or not. And no wind speed, forecast etc.
Any ideas on how to fix this?

]]>Hi Guys,
Just downloaded your plugin and have to say I like the idea. Really like Wunderground already, so for me this is super cool to be able to display weather on my site.
I did have a few issues with your choices of layouts as none of them really worked for me except the simple layout. I’d like to be able to show a 7 Day forecast with the simple layout and was wondering, can you take the simple layout and turn it into a slider? Where it displays one day at a time, but has arrows that a user can click to view the other days available?
For example, let’s say it is Monday and when it loads, Monday displays first and has a right arrow. I click the arrow, it slides Tuesday in, so on so forth showing a left arrow to go back to prior days and it includes only as many days as set for the forecast.
I think this would be a great add-in. I know I would definitely use it.
Not to replace the simple layout mind you, just a dup of the simple layout edited into a slider. Maybe call it “simple (slider)”.
Please let me know if this is possible. Also was wondering if you could get rights to the Katra Weather icon set to display in your plugin. Those are some really, really nice weather icons. Would look beautiful on my site… ??

A lot of sites used this; it’s a shame it’s no longer being updated.
]]>This plugin was working properly until today (4-7-17) and now it’s showing 0o and the weather icon isn’t loading. I checked to make sure everything is up to date and properly setup. I also checked to make sure that weather underground is online and reporting properly from the location that I’m using.
Any ideas on how to get this working again?
]]>My wunderground weather forecast icons are still displaying March 17 2017. I am running wunderground plugin version 1.2.5.1. i like that one better than the new one so i do not update it though do not think that causes any issues. Its something else. Here is where you can see details https://www.surflook.com/surf-report/california/san-diego/oceanside/
I am using wordpress version 4.7.3
]]>One of my clients is using the Weather Underground plugin and it is showing a “Special Weather Statement” notice in the widget. If you click on it for more information it goes to a “page not found” error.
https://www.wunderground.com/US/ON/AJ4.html
I’m not sure if the “Special Weather Statement” notice is appearing when it shouldn’t be, or if it’s just not linking to the correct page.
This is my client’s website:
These are the shortcodes being used to display the WU widget on the page:
echo do_shortcode('[wunderground location="Huntsville, Canada" location_title="Burks Falls, ON" layout="current" measurement="metric" hidedata="search"]');
echo do_shortcode('[wunderground location="Huntsville, Canada" location_title="Burks Falls, ON" numdays="5" layout="table-horizontal" measurement="metric" showdata="icon,highlow,daynames" hidedata="search,pop,text,conditions"]');

We are getting the error “There was an error fetching the forecast: querynotfound”
Looking at the console I can see the following…
TypeError: tabs is null
var ps = tabs.getElementsByTagName(‘p’);tabs.js?ver=1 (line 5, col 5)
Please let me know if there is a workaround for this or if it’s a known issue that can be addressed.
Thank you
]]>When I activate the weather underground plugin and place a widget in the right side column the Home page is not displayed when opening the website. I have tried both the blog front page and the static front page but both behave the same. If I disable weather underground my front page behaves normally and opens on site access.
Using Colormag-Pro theme but problem occurs with other themes tested. I also deactivated all other plugins installed to test if the problem was an interaction but activating the weather plugin by itself causes the issue
