Hi,
The Xeroom website has been down since yesterday and no orders are being sent to Xero. Does anyone know if this is temporary or has this plugin been discontinued?
Thanks!
Hi guys,
Your site is down and we’re getting a licensing error when we try to submit invoices.
Are these things related?
regards,
Sam
When an invoice in WooCommerce is created, where the price for a product is discounted (manually), when it is transmitted to Xero with Xeroom, an additional discount line is created further discounting the product.
For example in WooCommerce:
Product A is usually $100.
Product A is manually discounted by $10 to $90
When sent to Xero with Xeroom the invoice has:
Product A at $90
Discount line at $10
Total is $80 (an additional $10) off.
Is there any way to fix this?

Im guessing I need to install the ioncube PHP Loader, can anyone help? My site is running on PHP7.

I am having exactly this problem which is outlined on the help page.
Error sending invoices: “TaxType code ‘xxx’ cannot be used with account code ‘yyy’
You may see the following error in the order notes:
ERROR creating Xero invoice: ErrorNumber: 10 ErrorType: ValidationException Message: A validation exception occurred Detail: The TaxType code ‘xxx’ cannot be used with account code ‘yyy’.
If so, this is related to the shipping account being set to the wrong type in the WooCommerce Xero settings: it must match the account setting in Xero. You can set it in the WooCommerce > Xero settings option Treat Shipping As:
The problem is that I don’t have ‘xero settings’ as an option in my woocommerce settings. What have I done wrong?
]]>Just installed the premium version of Xeroom, with previously generated keys via openssl. I went to the library/certs in FTP and deleted existing files, and put my own keys:
public_privatekey.pfx
publickey.cer
It doesn’t seem like that connection is happening. Did I do something wrong?
]]>Hi,
After installing your plugin, I get a this error.

How can I fix it?

]]>I am using the Product Bundles plugin: https://woocommerce.com/products/product-bundles/
There are 2 scenarios in this plugin that we currently use:
1) The main Bundle Product is given a price and the products that make up the bundle are set to NOT be priced individually. So the invoice amount should be the same as the price on the main Bundle Product and ignore the prices of the individual products making up the bundle.
2) The main Bundle Product is not given a price and the products that make up the bundle are set to PRICED INDIVIDUALLY. So the Invoice amount should be the sum of the prices/amts of the individual products.
Currently Xeroom is creating the invoice in Xero by using the price of the main Bundle Product as well as the prices of the individual products making up the bundle…. so the Invoice is basically doubling up (more or less).
Is there any plan to cater for product bundles in Xeroom or any suggestions of how I can get the correct invoice value to be created in Xero?

]]>Hi Pete,
We are trying to install the plugin, however after uploading via ftp and also installing via the WordPress ‘add plugin’ feature, when activated it shows php errors at the top of the page (on the back end).
Have you any idea what could be causing this?
Many thanks
]]>I have a wholesale price plugin activated.
When using this plugin to create an invoice in Xero, the price shown is the regular sale price, not the wholesale price used in woocommerce, meaning the invoice total is wrong.
Is this something you are aware of, and can update?
The whoelsale plugin is: https://en-gb.www.ads-software.com/plugins/woocommerce-wholesale-prices/
]]>No Error message on debug page. No transmission to Xero after update.
]]>Hi Peter
I am unable to receive any invoices in Xero. When I check the debug page it shows the order ID and time/date sent but there are no messages in the debug column (am happy to email a screenshot if the helps).
Does this mean that Xeroom is working successfully or is it indicating there is an error in my setup of Xeroom?
Thanks,
Ross

The TaxType code ‘INPUT4’ cannot be used with account code ‘200’.
Hi,
Im using the free version of the plugin and the only settings that are saving is the shipping/carriage cost account code.
All other settings are clearing upon saving(appart from the radio options)….it says saved.
This is on a multisite setup….i’ve used the woocommerce xero plugin in the past which works exactly the same…can you confirm if this is a bug or not supported with the latest wc update?
Thanks

]]>Hi Pete
Congratulations on the new version of Xeroom!
The plugin is now installed in WP and I am wanting to trail the plugin before I make a purchase however I am experiencing a problem with obtaining the license key.
When I click ‘submit’ after typing my email address the ‘Submit button’ jumps up a little & nothing happens.
After three attempts at this the page finally refreshes and I get the ‘Xeroom Free Version is Successfully Activated!’ message however I don’t receive any emails.
I look forward to your response.
Kind regards
Ross

]]>I am trialing Xeroom at the moment.
When I enter the various Xero Accounts in the Xeroom Settings, the Bank Account does not save and resets to 0.
My client uses B001 as their Bank Account code in Xero.
Orders are being sent through to Xero and creating Invoices, but obviously Payments are Not being processed and I assume this is because it can’t find a Bank Account.
There is no error is the Debug report.
Does this plugin work with WP 4.9.x? and Woocommerce 3.3.x? Thank you.

]]>Hi,
I have set up a payment gateway in wooCommerce as I’m sure many others have. I’m using stripe and for each order I can see the amount I will receive from stripe and the amount of fee stripe will charge.
In xero it looks like only the payment is recorded. This means the auto-reconcile function will not work and every transaction will need a manual adjustment to add the stripe fee.
Could you confirm if this is the case and if so, are you able to record the payment but also a ‘spent money’ transaction equal to the stripe fee? Xero will then realise the net matches the amount actually received in the bank account and prompt the auto-reconcile.
Adding the account code that we want to send the payment gateway fee to in the xeroom settings would be required as well.
Thanks,
Nick
Hi,
I’m using this plugin to create gift cards – https://yithemes.com/themes/plugins/yith-woocommerce-gift-cards/.
I have set up 2 gift cards for testing. 1 that has a fixed amount and one that has some pre-filled amounts and the option to add a manual amount.
Only the gift card with the fixed amount is appearing on the invoice in Xero. The one with the variable amount is failing the API POST to /api.xro/2.0/Payments. The amount is coming through as 0 in all cases I’m getting this error:
<ValidationError>
<Message>Payment amounts must be positive amounts</Message>
</ValidationError>
There’s a chance that this is something that needs to be fixed in the gift card plugin. But it would be good to understand:
1. what field value in which table is used to send the payment amount to Xero.
2. the item is currently created as ‘git card’ but has an amount 0. Will Xero be able to handle the same item having different pricing every time it’s used?
Thanks,
Nick
Hello I’ve sent you a PM but I thought it might be useful to post here too??
The issue I’m having is that incorrect invoice amounts are being posted to Xero due to the bulk discount not being recognised by your software.
Customers are able to purchase my product in multiples and and by doing so receive a discount depending on the amount purchased. This discount is applied before the checkout and shown clearly before the payment process.
I do have a Woocomerce bulk discount plugin which ables me to offer this to my customers and I set the discount type to “Fixed discount”, I have tried changing this to a percentage discount to see if this is picked up and added to the invoice in Xero in the appropriate section but I’m afraid that doesn’t work either.
I find it strange that Xeroom doesn’t send the actual invoice amount data from WooCommerce to Xero. If I go into the order on WooCommerce it shows the item and SKU correctly with the total correctly calculated with the discount applied. I would have thought it was this data sent across to Xero which is why I can’t understand the cause of the problem? It seems that only the SKU and quantity are being sent no the discounted amount is missed…
