like “Plugins Last Updated Column” plugin does it.
please also cache values
Please add an option to save all update values for x hours/days so the backend is loaded faster, and also the plugin page is loading fast and not scanning for updates when i only want to quick install a plugin.
Thanks for the plugin
]]>Hello!
I see that xGen has not been updated for over two years(!) now, and I was wondering if it will get any future updates and be maintained with new features, and most importantly new security updates.
Since many hack attacks rely on holes and vulnerabilities of plugins, using outdated plugins could be a a big risk for getting your site hacked.
Please let me know.
Thanks!
Hi there,
I just installed this plugin and it seems pretty useful, but there are quite a few issues with it.
First I noticed that the plugin doesn’t work right off the bat. Even if one wants to use the default settings, one must navigate to the settings screen, save them (even though no changes are made), and then the plugin works. The default settings should automatically work…
Also, I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the 4th column to appear. I’ve got columns for the Install, Last Activated, and Last Deactivated dates, which is great. However, there is no way to get the Latest Update date out of the Description column and into a column of its own, as far as I can tell. This would be far more useful — having the Latest Update date in the Description column isn’t very legible. The eye is used to scanning columns then must sort through a bunch of info just to find this last piece of the puzzle. I’m hoping I just haven’t figured out the right setting, but it doesn’t seem like it at the moment…
Another thing is that the Last Activated and Last Deactivated columns don’t display any info — I’m assuming this plugin needs to be active in order to collect and save that data in the first place. Is that right? If so, then that makes sense ??
And lastly, the Install date isn’t always accurate — in some cases, it is displaying the date on which I applied an update rather than the date of actual installation. I can confirm this because the Last Update date is the day before the Install date. But in other cases the install date is correct, so I have no clue what could be causing this.
I hope you can help me figure some of these things out… Most important to me would be to get the Last Updated date out of the Description column and into a column of its own.
Thanks very much!
]]>Thanks for making such a useful, simple plugin. It has helped us clean up the plugin area a great deal.
One feature request I have which I would really appreciate is the ability to sort plugins by date installed, activated and deactivated. This would make it much easier to see which plugin was most recently modified (among other things). I’m guessing you’d have to make the ‘Plugin’ column also sortable to put them back in alphabetical order.
Is this a feature that could be implemented?
Thanks
