I have used your plugin on a site that contains content from a 4-month travel I did in 2010, and I just saw that it is no longer compatible with the latest update.
any chance you will update this or fix the error it is causing?

Even if it seems there is no more support for this plugin, I have to try:
If I try to share the url of my site or any contents from the blog, I get a warning that the site is blacklisted (in fact, it is not… both site and IP are checked as whitelisted) in Facebook and G+. Trying to share the url without /lang/xx/ seem to work at times.
The site in question is https://www.aegis-strife.net. You can try to share anything on FB and you will most likely get a warning and the content will be blocked.
Any ideas on this one? I already contacted Facebook but I wonder if they will reply back.

In the post/side editor the language button tools adds tags <del> … </del> to sorround the selected text instead of the language tags e.g. <span lang=”sv”> … </span>
]]>Using the xLanguage plugin gives a redirect error depending on the www or non-www domain.
If General->Settings is set to https://www.blog.tld then visiting blog.tld returns an redirect loop error. Changing General->settings to remove the www, rebuild permalinks, and visit non-www domain now works, but www domain gets the redirect error.
I suspect it’s something to do with changes to canonical name processing.
Anyone else suffering or know the solution ?
The plugin home page for xlanguage seems to have disappeared and possibly support.

Also i am trying to use it with WP Gallery. When i try xLanguage and WP Gallery on the same post xLanguage doesn’t work.
]]>This plugin hindered me from logging into my worpress site, only after deleting it could i re-login. Either the plugin has a bug/incompatibility with current wordpress version or then the author uses it for malware/other suspicious activity to monitor/capture sites.

Hi, I’m using this plugin to translate the website of a friend, however it fails translating the alt & title attributes and captions from images inside media gallerys.
I’m trying to find the appropiate filter hooks, but none seems to be valid. ?Any suggestions?

I love this plug-in. Got it working so perfect now. But I can not find where I can style the widget. I have moved it to be placed in my footer so visitors can change from the start page since my sidebar isn’t visible at “home”. This for much more user friendly.
But I cant find where do edit the appearance of the widget. Its now in a list mode but I want the language at one row.
language 1 – language 2 etc etc.
The writers website is blank and no support seems to be given here.
Is there anyone here that know where and what file i shall edit?

this plugin uses the call preg_replace () /e. The /e option is dangerous and therefore not allowed on a lot of servers.
To quote suhosin:
“The /e modifier inside preg_replace() allows code execution. Often it is the cause for remote code execution exploits. It is wise to deactivate this feature and test where in the application it is used. The developer using the /e modifier should be made aware that he should use preg_replace_callback() instead. “
Hopefully the developer reads this and can change it, since a lot of users seem to want to use this plugin

The plug-in 2.0.4 works just fine in regular 3.0.1 install, but I can not get it to work if I enable multi-user/multi-site option in WP. Is there any hack to make this work. The plug-in installs successfully, but it does not filter my page correctly/at all. The test page is at podi2.bubi.si.
Is the plug-in dead? There has not been any new release for over a year, the homepage is down, trac not active. Any news from the author? Or do we have to start searching for a new plug-in and rewrite our posts? That would be a shame, since this is far the best multi-language plug-in I tested so far.

]]>I have tested alot of language plugins today to see what they do and if they fit my need.
What I need is to have my page in multiple language for my visitors.
This plug really made my day. I now have page in two language. Default shall be Swedish and then I added a test with English.
problem comes in when I press Swedish the “hem” link that is HOME is still in english and all the texts like “comment” is in english. when deactivating the plugin its back to Swedish – I have the Swedish version of WordPress.
Also – the link to change to English has a bubble next to it – the swedish doesnt.
Any ideas what I shall do here? thanks.
