I was having problems with the popular XML sitemap plugins and, happily, this one works. A no-frills XML sitemap is a lot better than a broken one. And… Google says there are no errors.

Sorry Jason Martens, Google webmaster tools doesn’t like you:
“We encountered an error while trying to access your Sitemap. Please ensure your Sitemap follows our guidelines and can be accessed at the location you provided and then resubmit.” AND
“General HTTP error: 404 not found
HTTP Error: 404″
Shame, looked like a bit of fun really.

It’s a very simple tool – easy to use BUT… It adds draft pages to the sitemap which creates 404 page errors in the Webmaster Tools console
