Hey this is for the author or anyone that can help. I have been using this pluggin on one of my sites and now need to move the site to a different server. However, I have never backed up anything and I do not have the original files for yak. Is there a way to get the files from what I have installed or can someone provide the link to download the initial install of the last working version before it was discontinue. Sorry I had no clue it was discontinued.

]]>My site will just provide downloadable products, with that said the “Shipping” address is really their email address, however I still need their billing address for authorize.net.
The only way I can find to get the billing address is to select those fields under “Shipping” but when you go to the check out page it stats the billing address as the shipping address and so it applies a bit of confusion for my customers.
Is there a way to ask for just their email address in the shipping but then ask for their billing address separately?
Again on the customer shipping info I just need their email address but for billing via authorize.net I need their complete billing address.

]]>On most orders since 3.5 update and recent Yak updates, most United States orders are defaulting to “AB” (Alberta, Canada) for the state field when the order is processed. It will show the correct city and country but the state is wrong. On the front end, state drop down is normal and correct state can be selected. It’s when the order is placed that the state will usually change to “AB”. Not every order, but most, and no real rhyme or reason.

]]>Hi, I installed YAK and it is seems to be working ?? Also installed the authorize.net plugin. However, I do not see a “view cart” button/link anywhere. I see the YAK Widget, that says “your Shopping Basket”, but it’s not a link – it just shows what’s IN the cart. If I “Leave” the shopping cart page once I add an item to it, the only way for me to “get back” to my cart, and proceed to checkout, seems to be to add another item to the cart. Am I missing something simple here? That is very possible.. haha.. Any help would be GREEEEEEATLY appreciated!!! Thanks!!! ??

]]>After install (I also installed the authorize.net plugin), I created an (product) article. (instructions say to create a “post”, but I assume they mean article?). When I published it, selected the category ‘products’ on right (there WAS a category ‘default’ that was under and to the right of ‘products’ when I went to publish my article, and now that ‘default’ is not there anymore. I went to the ‘bottom’ and set my price, hit the + button and selected default (the only thing in the dropdown), put 100 for a quantity. ]]>After a few months I mengguanakan this plugin, I felt comfortable and greatly helped, in a few days I felt so slow when going into wp-admin login page, after debugging wp-admin and problems arise due to a bug in the Yak for WordPress that can not be repaired are:
I use WP Version 3.5, Themes Easel version 3.2.1. and Yak for WordPress Version 3.4.9.
I have done:
– Disable the plugin and clean up cacha, then I reactivate the plugin.
– Removing and reinstalling the plugin.
But until I wrote this problem still can not be overcome. Is this plugin is not compatible with WP and themes that I use? how the solution and what should I do to fix it?

]]>I’v installed YAK and the authorize.net plugin and I am having trouble getting it to work in test mode or even live. When I try and do a transaction it seems to work but I always get “My I’m Sorry your transaction didn’t go through” message . The message I would expect to get if authorize.net had declined the transaction. However when I log into my authorize.net account to look at the activity none shows up. Normally when we use the authorize.net terminal even “decline” transactions show up. I’ve talked to authorize.net to see if there was some setting that need to be turned on or something and they said no, as long as I am using the ID and current Transaction Key of which I have checked several times. My site does have an SSL. I host with Godaddy.
I’m using wordpress 3.5
I am stuck please help.

I’m writing because I have problems with YAK for WordPress plugin.
I installed it on my WordPress 3.5 website and it doesn’t work. Then I installed it on my second WordPress website which uses a little bit older WP and it works without any problems.
The main problem is that I can’t load GENERAL OPTIONS, SHIPPING OPTIONS and MISC OPTIONS in WP 3.5.
In WP 3.5 it looks like this (screenshot) and in older WP it looks like this (screenshot).
Could you please help me? What should I do to make this plugin work?

Interestingly in the “General Options” menu page and all the other subpages of the YAK module, the tab functionality diappeared in my installation. The whole content is therefore displayed on the page. Could that be a jQuery issue?
Also, on the “Sales Reports” page, there is a PHP error

What does that mean? Something bad happened with a database somewhere?
When all that stuff happended, I didn’t do anything fancy on the website. I mean, apart of changing theme CSS and some lines in the header.php (I added a custom script, which depends on the built-in jQuery). I also tested a html confirmation email. Now YAK doesn’t send test order confirmation mails anymore.

I searched the internet but couldn’t find a solutionā¦ How do you set the product image for a product post in the YAK gallery add-on correctly? It isn’t shown in the tutorial video on the a filly ate it website. I set the featured image, but on my shop site (with my [yak_gallery tag=”yak_gallery1″ lightbox=”off” size=”thumbnail” cols=”4″]) there are no pictures in the product table. Other than that, the product information is displayed correctly.
Maybe some incompatibility with WP 3.5? I don’t have to have any lightbox installed, do I? Is it maybe just me doing something wrong on the post edit page?
I am stuck and I can’t find enough documentation out there (the YAK PDF doesn’t help either!). Any help is greatly appreciated!

When browsing the checkout page, i am getting the following error:

The products table looks fine, no quantities because i am working on a downloadable products shop.
I tried to display $_SESSION and never get a view on $_SESSION[ITEMS_NAME] wich is the argument when the function yak_get_totals(), wich containes that line 1460, is called from yak-view-cart.php (line 67).
I’am still on localhost with that project, so i can’t provide a link to the site.
But are there any hints, how to fix this? Does anybody have the same problem?

]]>I just noticed that if you will start to check out something and then cancel it on paypal’s login screen….the order will appear with no status it will also say that no funds were received however the stock will be decreased by one…Is there anyway to avoid this? Huge problem for me since all of my products are in single quantity…

Currently, YAK causes jQuery Tools to be loaded on all WP admin pages, thereby breaking an important Drag & Drop functionality in NextGEN gallery.
I have temporarily solved this problem by replacing the line 1420 in yak-for-wordpress.php, which was
wp_enqueue_script(‘jquery-tools’, “$yakurl/jquery.tools.min.js”);
by
$url = $_SERVER[“REQUEST_URI”];
if (yak_str_contains($url, ‘yak’))
{
wp_enqueue_script(‘jquery-tools’, “$yakurl/jquery.tools.min.js”, null, null);
}
One can certainly do better, i.e. do the same for other files that need to be loaded only when visiting the YAK settings pages, or provide a better way of checking whether we are on the YAK settings page.
Note that I also changed the wp_enqueue_script line, because with the old line, WordPress would append its version string to the jquery.tools.min.js file, such that it could not be found anymore.
