I have installed Yakadanda, created the API and connected. At first, it downloaded my first 4 Hangouts. Those happened to be ones I didn’t want to include. So, I deleted them in the events area.

Now, no other events are coming up. I see the Google Developer console is showing activity, but nothing is showing up. The events console is also opening very slowly.

Am I doing something wrong?

After successfully entering all the details and connecting to google,
returns to blank settings page.

Refreshing the settings page again shows NOT CONNECTED
and shows NO events in the ALL EVENTS page.

I have followed all the steps, and have my google account connected to the apps.

I’ve also able to see all the events I created, but somehow all those event won’t appear on my site at all. Neither on widget, nor with shortcodes

What did I miss?

Ok I have everything setup as stated in instructions. But my widget for Hangouts, doesn’t show a hangout. And the event widget shows the correct event, yet it redirects you to your calender, instead of the Google+ page as it says it is doing. Can somebody explain this to me ?

when I put the widget or the short code inside my blog, it generate blank content for itself… and makes blank all the widgets below it!

I set up the account and it worked, but when I went to switch to a different Google account it stopped working and won’t how any upcoming events. I am thinking I need to logout and reconnect, but it will not let me logout. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hi,
I have a problem when configuring the plugin, connecting my calendar ID.
The API Key, Client ID and Client Secret all seem to be fine (followed the installation steps over and over again) but when I fill in my email in the Calendar ID field and click Save and Connect at the bottom, it links to my google page and asks if i want to accept having offline access.

After I accepted the request it takes me back to the previous wp page but now with a notification at the top which says “Please login as (the email i entered in the calendar ID field)”, and shows me in red “Not Connected” at the right side of the Calendar ID field.

Since I have not seen anyone else dealing with the same issue, I guess I’m doing something very silly, but I have seriously spend days in frustration trying to figure out what I’m doing wrong here. Guess you can already tell I’m a newbie ??
Can someone help me out?

For some reason, I can’t get [google+events] or [google+events type=”hangout”] to work in a page. Whenever I add one of those to a page, then try to view the page, it brings up a 404 page not found error. The widgets work perfectly, so I don’t understand what the problem is. ??

Great plugin.
I would like to add the Hangout widget to a page using a shortcode.
Can someone tell me the shortcode to use. The events are showing up for me.. I just need to craete a page for them and diplay a countdown clock for each.
I tried [google+events] and that shows the list of events but I want it to look more like the display that you get when you add the “Google+Hangout events” widget.

Hi, very cool plugin. I’m using this without a problem to create a standard Hangout, but I don’t see an option to make it a “Hangout On Air”–meaning I want to have the ability to share the URL with others to watch the Hangout and also have it automatically archived on YouTube. Any plans for this in the future? Would be hugely helpful.

the Hangout plugin seems awesome. Just installed it into 3.6 using U-Design theme, and getting a few errors upon activation of the plugin.

When do you think you might have it working fully with 3.6 or could the issue be purely based on my theme?

Hi all,

Is it possible to have the start and finish time of and event in the widget or shortcode relect the time of the users time. Or take out the start and finish time of the event? I did some testing overseas and the event still shows the time that it has been created in my google calendar.. not the actual time that the user will be attending in their local time.

Within my google account I have a google “page”, with seperate google events. This events page is not linked to my email address.
What do I enter in teh calendar ID field.
If I enter my google account, then the events under my personal profile are displayed instead of the events on the google page.

Im trying to have our our coworkers calendar event that has been added onto the main business calendar show up in the hangouts. Anything done on from me on the main calender works perfectly with this app. Everyone in our Co has full permissions to add events to the main company calendar.
When I was using the google calender app (from google) they it would show up all the events added by coworkers onto the main calendar. It would show up also even if they only added the event on their own company designated calender to them.

I tried all sorts of variations and Im now out of ideas….. So Im just wondering if its something wrong being done on my side or its something that this app currently does not support?

A workaround could be just to give all the workers my login though obviously that would not be ideal.
