I have installed the plugin and uploaded a file, and tried to download it to test before release. The file was downloaded with no problem. It was saved in my file directory. Everything looked good up to that time. However, I could not open the file. I have tried several times with PDF and JPG files. Same problems. Please help me to solve it.

What I want is to embed a hyperlink in a web page and allow a reader to click on the hyperlink and get the file downloaded. What happens now when the hyperlinked is clicked I get a media attachment page. So the desired behavior is to ignore the attachment page and go directly to the pdf file it contains.

I do not want the hyperlinked data replacing the web page, but, if the browser opens a new tab and calls an adobe reader that would be fine. This would be equivalent to .
