Thus, I’ve trying to update images in the gallery, but nothing happens.

Another problem is, if I delete a gallery, when I add other, this new gallery links the images from the first gallery (deleted), like if the image database were not updated.

Currently, by default, YASG doesn’t reflect changes in the order of the thumbnails in the gallery ie. the order shown by the “[gallery ids=1,2,3]” shortcode.

Is there a way to get the order of the thumnbails generated by YASG to match the order in the shortcode?

i use “yasg” and like it so fare.

but there i have found one hint:

i can’t add a new gallery from mediathek – only from freshly uploaded pictures!
and / or:
how to add additional pictures from the mediathek to an existing gallery?

is there any possibility to add this functionality?

i would like to know what this builtin option with the count of “columns” may mean and should be usefull for?

cause in comparism with the original example (and my own testing too) where there is given just one row & only one column i would await more the possibility to change the thumbnail listing into some “rows” instead …shouldn’t that be more usefull?!

Ottherwise: the try to change the number of wanted columns didn’t change anything in result … but why?

Please, where exactly should i do that? I’m a little bit confused.

And which (jquery) lightbox you will recommend, there are such a lot of them around ??

Otherwise i would prefer to have not any link from the main image, but this the settings do not provide

When I first installed this plugin (in June of this year) navigation arrows would appear if I had more thumbnails in the gallery than could display below the enlarged image above them. I have updated the plugin at least once since then. At some point something changed and the navigation arrows no longer appear allowing the additional thumbnails to scroll onto the page. Is there something I can do to regain that function?

Firstly thanks for posting this Gallery, its really excellent and the CSS is nice and easy to edit :)I’m just trying to find the location of the file where I can edit the background color when an image is loading and the circular loading icon is displayed. At the moment its a thin grey bar behind the icon. I couldnt find it in the yasg.css or js/php files nor can I locate it via Firebug, Is this a standard WordPress install edit?

First I think you made a very nice plug-in, but…

It shows a missing image / thumbnail.
Also – when i have many images there is no navigation arrows!

The picture captions do not change under the main picture it is always the caption from the first picture in the gallery. When you hover over the thumbnails with the mouse they just show the url and not the caption like they would before before.

Please fix.
