I installed the app but I can’t get the vote to show on my site. Can I get help?

we couldn’t find a way to specify a rating 1-10 rather than 1-5. Is this supported? If not, are there any plan to implement this rating scale?

As an alternative, could you please indicate which php file should be modified to lower the minimum rating to 0.5?

we are testing YASR on our reviews website. We noticed that in the Google Structured Data test page, each review also contains an aggregate review snippet that we would really like to remove. We couldn’t find any option in the plugin settings.

Could you please indicate where this snippet can be disabled or at least the php file we should work on to avoid Google indexing an aggregaterating snippet?

I would like to ask if it is possible to put the results of the average of this review into Google results. From the instructions of the plugin, it seems to me that this is only possible for the basic ratings. Or at least I couldn’t find it anywhere in the instructions.

I’m trying to use the “Multi Sets” feature in YASR, but I’m not quite getting how it works or how to set it up properly.

Here’s what I want to do:
I’m running a site with product reviews, and for each product, I want to have separate star ratings for different categories like “Build Quality,” “Value for Money,” and “Ease of Use.” I saw that Multi Sets is supposed to handle this, but I can’t figure out:

How do I create a custom Multi Set with these categories?
Once it’s created, how do I insert it into a post? Is there a specific shortcode I need to use?

Hello, absolutely love this plugin! The issue we’re currently facing is that YASR ratings are showing up in the header section, despite enabling the Exclude Pages option. For instance, it won’t show up in the home page, but it shows up in other tabs such as https://cineramen.gr/eidiseis/ and some other ones too. Any way to hide it or is there something we missed from the settings?

Hi, i’m using bricks builder and query loops to display data.
But bricks don’t see any dynamic data fields from YASR
I need to display a average score on post page and category page.

Does this plugin transmit data or just a score? I mean for privacy. E.g. does it collect the IP address of the person posting the review? Or is it totally anonymous? Thank you

As you know jquery is ancient and uses unnecessary resources. The plugin doesn’t even have enough reasons to use jquery but still loads jquery. Are you planning to update the plugin soon? Thanks.

I think Yet Another Stars Rating is a good plugin. However, it seems like it lacks some adaptations for block themes.

For example, I find it strange that the settings for this plugin appear at the bottom of the page, rather than on the sidebar where, by default, the page and block settings are located.

I’d like to know if Yet Another Stars Rating is making or planning to make this type of adaptation for block themes.

(Note: actually, maybe this isn’t specific to block themes but rather to the more recent organization mode in WordPress).

The plugin treats sub-page as one page and show the same rating. Can different sub-page be treated as separated page?

Using YASR Version 3.4.11

When I use the yasr_most_or_highest_rated_posts shortcode, the page gives JS error:

TypeError: l.get is not a function
at rankings.js?ver=3.4.11:1:10798

Nothing is displayed. Have already tried deactivating all plugins except YASR. Odd?

I have a need to rate users and products.

The users will be buyers or sellers of a product. A buyer will rate the sale which contains ratings for the product as well as the seller (Communication, shipping, product quality, etc). The seller will rate the buyer (Communication, payment, etc.). Both the buyer and seller sets of ratings need to contain the buyer id, seller id and product id. I would need to display reviews for one or more of these value. For example, I want to see all reviews by buyer id 10 and for seller id 25 and for product id 3190. Or see all reviews for buyer id 10.

Is anything like this possible with your product?

Hello dear, we have a problem with Yet Another Stars Rating plugin. Our hosting company send us information about more than 460 000 request for a week that was send by your plugin. It creates a request that self hit our system.

By this moment, I had cut off the plugin, but we use the schema option, so it is good to use it again.

Hello. YASR was working fine for me for a lot of time. Stars was showing perfectly in Google results. I was loving this plugin.

I was using caché on my site, so I didn’t notice any problems. When I erased the caché I discovered the problem. My entire site was not loading fine. It it was taking a long time to load, over 30 seconds! And many elements such images, was not displaying.

I deactivated all the plugins and activated them one by one. Bingo. The source of the problem was YASR. I updated the module but the problem persists. Pleas, any update? Thanks.

So, my site was timing out with a 500 error. Using the process of elimination, it turned out to be this plugin. If I enable it, it times out and throws a 500 error. If I disable it, the site loads just perfectly.

The weirdness is, it hasn’t updated for a few days. The last time it updated (with automatic updates because I am not a filthy heathen) was five or so days ago.

To complicate things, I have all the plugins enabled. All of them!

But, nothing that has updated between now and then had anything to do with this. None of those changes should have resulted in this – and there were no updates just prior to the problem.

It just broke, pretty much by itself.

I’ve disabled the plugin and will enable it again when it next updates. I just figured I’d make you aware of this. If the problem exists after the next update, I’ll spend time digging into it to try to help you resolve this. For now, my plan is to just wait.

This is probably very simple, but I have not found the solution in deocumentation.

Right now the text which you can put in the field 2 Custom text to display AFTER Visitor Rating is right after the star rating. It would look much better if the text was below.

How to achieve this?

I use another plugin (ActivityPub plugin) on my blogs, which shares blog posts and user comments to the Fediverse (e.g. Mastodon). This includes the yasr rating, which makes sense for posts. But a yasr rating also appears next to individual comments on Mastodon, which doesn’t make sense.

Here’s a link to an example post with a comment (by a blog user) on my blog https://animaltoyforum.com/blog/mini-garden-birds-archie-mcphee/ and here’s a screenshot of how that comment appears on Mastodon, with a yasr rating.

Can you explain why the yasr rating appears next to the comment on Mastodon and is there a way to stop it happening? I’ll also contact the ActivityPub plugin devs about this as well. Thanks!
