How to create a hover effect for categories and subcategories?
Hai there, after installing the menu, the + symbol appears also half in the screen.
Seems to be not compatible with Elementor.
Any solutions?
Hi,
On the main page (https://www.pjf.com.pt/novo/), it display the categories and subcategories from Woocommerce with all the options selected on the widget (https://prnt.sc/1y9uihb), but inside the shop page and categories page, only shows the categories (https://prnt.sc/1y9ukf4). It is normal?
Inside a normal page, it shows everything ok. Only inside the shop the subs aren’t displayed.

Hi,
I have installed the free version of the plugin to try out. When i click on a sub category, the category accordion won’t stay open when page is refreshed. How can I fix it?
Hi!
I’m trying the free version of the YITH WooCommerce Category Accordion. I’ve programmed a JavaScript script to load the category pages and the accordion with AJAX, and it works; but after replacing the elements with the new ones, the open/close toggles don’t appear. The doesn’t appear and the a highlight_cat doesn’t appear either. Can this be fixed?
Another thing I wonder is if it’s possible to have the accordion opened to the category a product belongs to, when a product page is visited?
Maybe this is possible if I buy the complete plugin?
Also; I have coded CSS so that the accordion is open up to and including the currently visited category, when the page is loaded. But with this, that visited category and it’s ancestors cannot be closed, they do the closing animation and then they open again. I guess it’s because of my CSS for displaying them. Can I have the accordion opened like this upon the page loading, and closeable? Or at least for the icon to show the minus (or corresponding icon)?
Can these things be achieved by some way for the YITH accordion?
I am using woostify theme with woocommerce, and elementor.
I installed this plugin to show a product category accordeon as a sidebar widget on all pages.. but it displays as always open, and no + or – signs to open or close… no styling options…
Any ideas why this might be?
Hi there!
I was wondering if it’s possible to show the Item quantity near the category name(like the standard woocommerce list).
Thanks a lot!

I am testing the free YITH WooCommerce Accordion plugin. It seems to me like the “Closed accordion” option is not working as expected. When I uncheck the option the accordion is still closed, but the “open/close” icon change from + to – on the main categories. I was expecting that the complete category tree would be open.
Hi, suddenly the plug in stopped working and categories are not listed anylonger in the sidebar, except one.
how to solve it?
On product pages I have a side bar showing the product categories using the free YITH WooCommerce Category Accordion plugin in the side bar widget.
The drop down accordion arrow is missing on the very top category. The subsequent categories, the down arrow is not lined up with the category word (it is slightly above). Upon clicking, the sub categories expand as they should and an up arrow appears but is not clickable to close the accordion.

Hi there,
Please go to https://sf.ewebhosting.co.za/shop/ > refer to the accordion “Filter by category” filter on the left
>> The client wants this filter to collapse each time the client searches, but currently it’s not always the case, i.e. go to https://sf.ewebhosting.co.za/product-category/baby-boys/ > select “0-3 months” under the “Filter by age” filter > the accordion widget/filter isn’t collapsed > after refreshing the page though, it’s collapsed again.

Hi,
It looks like this plugin is displaying incorrectly as per this screenshot: https://highfieldmarket.co.nz/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/accordian-issue.png
You can see that the ‘+’ signs are appearing in two places on the screen.
You can ever click this artefacts and they manipulate the accordian. Any thoughts?
Thanks for your help!
Just wondering if it’s possible to show the products under the categories in this plugin?
I would like to be able to open up the accordion by clicking on a category name, and show a list of the products in the chosen category.
Is it part of the paid plugin, or can it be done with some code? Or is it not possible with this plugin?
Hope someone can help.
I installed it and it requires some 6-8 other modules. Imagick is one of them which CAN NOT be found, even installing it using brew on Mac.
Once installed all it does is promote the premium version. Clickingthe “Settings” menu shows a page promoting the premium plugin and so on.
I can’t even find how you would actually configure the plugin.
Totally useless !!! Shame on you and WordPress.

Hi,
Most of the Categories in my shop have sub-categories, but there’s a couple that don’t. The Categories do have products assigned to them though.
The Categories that don’t have any sub-categories, don’t display.
In the attached link you can see that the ‘Cider’ and ‘Pre-Mix’ categories aren’t displaying in the sidebar.
Thanks.

for some reason, a category called “Uncategorized” started showing up, is there a way to hide this? I can not delete this category in woocommerce now it seems.

Hello,
I am trying the free version and I noticed that clicking on the + sign opens the subs, as expected, but clicking on the top level category just opens the products of that category, but does not show at the same time the subs. It works correctly instead on your demo. Is it a bug or premium feature?
