]]>Hi there,
I am selling a tour that costs 100 euros per person and 20 euros deposit. When I activate the deposit it stops working and does not add the correct amount. Example, If the buyer selects 3 people the deposit is 60 euros, ok, but the final amount is still 100 euros instead of 300 euros. I think that its a bug. How can I fix it?
Thank you.

Im using deposits and coupons on my store. When I add coupon, it works only for my deposit amount – but I need it to my whole price. How can I set it?
]]>Hello,
The issue is that when a customer applies a coupon to pay for the product on my website https://www.spinsketch.com/, The coupon is currently applied only to deposit value, not on the total value of a product. Please let me know how to coupon can work on the total value of the item and not just the deposit.

]]>I have an odd situation in which a full payment order seems to be missing in my database. The deposit order is there and is marked paid and completed, however the child order for the balance is nowhere to be found. I’ve even looked in my database where I found the following data:
_full_payment_orders a:1:{i:0;i:408427;}
however there is no order 408427, nor any post in the database with that ID. It’s possible that I accidentally deleted the full payment order (this was my first time taking a deposit and I messed it up several times before I finally (or so I thought) got it right.
Is it possible to recreate the full payment order so that I can complete this transaction? If so, can you tell me how? Thanks!
]]>Hi,
I would like to be able to change the text displayed in the product page “This action will let you pay a deposit of xxx for this product”.
Has anybody been able to figure out where this is stored and whether it is editable?
It would also be useful to replace the text on other fields and buttons used by the deposits plugin. If anyone could provide some guidance or advice it would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Cliff
Hi,
I’ve downloaded the free version of this though the deposit option is not shown on the product/cart pages. Anyone know how this may be solved?
I’ve already checked whether there are any plugin incompatibilities and there are none.
Maybe it’s the theme? It’s Enfold.
Many thanks.
Kind regards,
Bonnie
]]>hello,
The issue is that when a customer applies a coupon to pay for the product on my website https://www.portraitflip.com/, The coupon is currently applied only to deposit value, not on the total value of a product. Please let me know how to coupon can work on the total value of the item and not just the deposit.
Just to clarify though
So, as a further example, if I had a product at £100, with a deposit option of 50%, As a customer, without a coupon, I would expect to pay £50 now, and £50 at a later date.
A. If the coupon was available for 20% however, 20% be deducted from just the initial £50? (20% of £50 = £10 discount which means in total the customer pays £90)
Or
B. the coupon be calculated based on the whole order (20% of £100 = £20), but then deducted from the deposit (leaving a £30 deposit, £50 at a later date, meaning in total the customer pays £80)
As a customer I’d expect the latter, i.e. receiving the discount against the whole order. Currently, the situation A is happening. Kindly let me know how can I set the situation B to happen.
thanks

What is the best method to achieve this?
]]>Can I know how to add the deposit value to my theme to display on certain page?
]]>So added the plugin, activated it, enabled allow deposits in settings, and enabled it on product level as well, and nothing shows up. Ive tried on products with variations, simple products, ive tried using default settings on products, ive tried matching settings within the main settings area and then on the products themselves, ive tried forcing deposits on products or on all products, ive tried deactivating plugins, switching to default themes. Ive tried everything ive come across on the web, and nothing works.
The scripts are being called, but nothing is being output. Console shows no errors or anything like that.
Any suggestions?
]]>Does your WooCommerce Deposit and Down Payments plugin call the WooCommerce method WC_Order::status_transition() so that the action ‘woocommerce_order_status_changed’ that other plugins use to trigger an event is informed?
I have this problem. I have WC connected to a bookkeeping account.
When i pay and complete a deposit (order #1 in WC) an invoice from that system is NOT automatically send.
There’s an option to ‘manually’ send the invoice from any order# or date(range). When i use that option (order #12xx) the invoice is sent out.
So the order is there and the bookkeeping plugin sees and ‘understands’ it.
When you pay the ‘child’ order from your account, the invoice DOES get sent out immediately.
When i disable the plugin or enable it but choose ‘No deposit’ in the product so i basically end up with 1 order, it all works well.
In the proces of automation i’m building for my client this is an important feature.
I’ve asked the developer of the bookkeeping plugin what the problem might be and he said it could basically be one of 2 options.
This is the second option. See my opening question.
Thanks,
Ronald

ie. 11 people x $155 = $1705 currently plugin gives me 11 x $50 = $550 as the deposit i need it capped at $200

The plugin works well. One thing I discovered when I enable the plugin is that the notification “[Product] has been added to your cart” message in a single product page is not showing. If I disable the plugin, it is showing.
Any idea regarding this?

I’d like the deposit to change according to the quantity ordered. For instance, if the deposit amount setup in admin is 10€, and if I order 5 units, the total deposit should be 5×10€=50€.
This is relevant as I can order a large quantity and would make a reservation of the amount equivalente to just one unit.
How can this be accomplished?
I have the deposit set to $50 and the base price of a booking is $350. I have conditions set on each product to increase the price on specific dates. So for dates in July the total booking price is actually $425. The plugin is only charging the base price ($350) and not the date range price of $425.
I’ve uninstalled the plugin, cleared cache, browsed in incognito, reinstalled the plugin.. etc. and I cannot get this plugin to charge the correct amount for bookings.
I have attached screenshots. You can recreate the issue on https://rentboatsdestin.com/product/destin-full-day/ and booking a July date.
]]>Hi, this plugin sends emails before transaction is marked as complete. So my customers who cancel the transaction after proceeding to paypal checkout page get misinformed as to their balance. They think they’ve paid, since the system has sent and email saying “your balance is (Base amount minus deposit)” when in actuality they still owe the deposit.
How can we fix this?

I am using Woocart Popup Pro, the idea is that the popup does not show when the cart is empty, so that customers can visit/refresh as many products as they wish without the toil of having to close the popup each time. However, if I activate YITH WooCommerce Deposits and Down Payments, the popup will show again and again (even when the cart is empty), making navigation a pain. Is there a way to use both plugins and avoid this conflict? Thanks.

If it helps the specific template I am changing first is loop-add-deposit-to-cart.php
Thanks!
