I am using the free version of this plugin and some users have entered their gift card code into the checkout field. This apparently adds some extra work to my clients when users do this. So, I was wondering if there is a way to prevent users from being able to enter a gift card code in the coupon field. Thank you for your help.

Hi, I tried using gift card plugin. Tried to do a test order, using a $300 gift card and use it to pay a total amount of $32.
$64 was deducted from the gift card.

Hi, I’d like to change the names of the form fields created for the YITH gift card product. I want to make it clearer for the user. For example, for the email field, I’d like it to say “Email of the lucky person .” Do you know where these forms can be modified? I’ve searched for the file via FTP in YITH and can’t seem to find it. I am using yith gift card plugin, I see on the front end the amount appear on the gift cards as buttons. And we have added several options for the gift card. And the design looks awful now. I would like to suggest and request an update to convert the buttons into a dropdown option. Considering UIUX, it will look minimal, neat and clean on the website.

We’re experiencing an issue with the YITH WooCommerce Gift Cards plugin related to gift card pricing on completed orders. Our site allows customers to purchase gift cards at preset amounts or with a custom price. However, when an order is completed, the gift card price recorded does not match the customer’s selected amount. For example, we’ve seen cases where a gift card with a $30 price shows a value like 6697845606.
We’re using the WooCommerce $order object to retrieve order details, and we obtain the price of the items of the order like this: $prod_price = $product->get_price();. Unfortunately, as mentioned above this is returning an incorrect or unusual value.
Could you advise on why this might be happening and suggest any fixes?

]]>I am testing my website at the moment, and am having some real issues with the gift cards.
When I used a gift card code in the checkout, it applies fine, but when i continue checkout, i get a message telling em the discount has been removed as the code doesn’t exist.
In the back end, it is then showing that the code has been redeemed, however it has not gone through checkout, and no discount has been applied.
I’m also not receiving the email with the voucher code when I ‘purchase’, nor when I ‘send email’ in the back end, so the entire plugin seems pretty pointless at the moment.
Any advice?

I’m using YITH WooCommerce Gift Cards (free).
I set everything up and created the product sheet for the Gift Voucher (Virtual).
I tried to buy a gift voucher (100€) but a duplicate one with a zero value is automatically activated in my cart.
Furthermore, in the checkout, the exact discount code appears (the one for the recipient) and another discount code appears under my name (the person who made the payment of the voucher) and it shouldn’t be there!
I also have a second scenario: I choose the amount €100 and a €100 voucher and a €25 voucher are automatically added to the cart.
Is there any bug?

Recipient Email Sent on Wrong Order Status
According to your docs, recipients receive gift codes via email once order status is set to Completed. I want this default behavior, but the email is being sent while the order is in Processing status. This means the gift code is valid but I haven’t verified payment yet. Checked the settings but nothing there. So how I can enable emails to only be sent on Completed status (default)?
2. Recipient Email doesn’t render button
Also on the email, I’ve enabled the “click here to apply code’ to render as a button in the email. The setting is enabled but a button doesn’t render in the email. How can I fix this please?
3. Move gift code input on checkout
I want to change the position of the gift code input form on the checkout page to above the Order Summary. Found a php snippet in this forum but it doesn’t work. Please can you help me with one? Or better yet, is there a shortcode I could use?

I have a page where I sell gift cards for a go-kart track. The idea is for the customer to get a pdf with a photo of the voucher, with a code generated by the system and with a 6 month expiry date. Using Woocommerce I have created several products. Everything worked as it should but it was just a “regular” product and the customer would only get an invoice. That’s why I downloaded YITH Gift cart. In the product settings I changed the product type from “Simple product” to “Gift Cart”. I work exclusively with the Divi theme and its modules. When I made this change so on the page where I had several products in a row and I used the module “Woo Add to Cart” I got the information : ” The gift card has invalid amount ” while I entered the price. When I open or edit a product and view it, the same module is there. When I click on add to cart the product gets added to cart. When I use the same module elsewhere it says ” The gift card has invalid amount”. With the same settings. I don’t understand why I get the information and the unset price.
Or should I use another solution ? So that the customer can choose a voucher with a fixed price and get a pdf with the information ? Shouldn’t I create the product through Woocommerce first ? But do I need to create something through YITH Gift Cart ?

]]>Hi, I know vendors can’t manage gift cards, but we can sell them. If we do sell gift cards, when a customer uses the card on a vendor’s product:
1. Can the vendor receive a payout as normal from our Stripe Connect?
2. What kind of reporting would we have for the usage of the giftcard redemption for us to manually pay the vendors?
3. Can we sell gift cards with a rule that they can only be redeemed through one seller?
4. If someone buys a gift card for €50, but redeems only €20, will there still be €30 left on the voucher to be redeemed at a later date?

Hi, I’m using the free version of the YITH Gift Cards plugin. It doesn’t allow me to purchase from an “Add to Cart” button and, especially, not even from PayPal. When I click the button, nothing happens; it seems like a window wants to open, but it doesn’t. How can I resolve this? Thank you!

Cron doesnt show any yith_ywgc added (manually adding it didnt do anything). WP mail logging doesnt show them sent either.
Other mails from the website works fine.

]]>I’m facing some issues with this plugin…
Here’s an example workflow.
1) i buy the gift card and I set the order as completed.
2) I apply the coupon code to the cart (not at the checkout) and then I go to the checkout. The total is less than the full value of the gift card, so I’ve still credit to use. The order completes without errors.
3) I make another order. This time I apply the coupon to the checkout page. I get the error about the selection of the payment.
4) I remove the coupon from the cart and… the coupon seems disappear, I cannot use it anymore. I don’t complete the order.
5) I buy another gift card and I set the order as complete.
6) I notice in your plugin, in the gift cards list, that a part of the previous coupon was used for the latest order, but it’s not true (and it was not applied in the latest order…)
Something weird… it seems there are multiple bugs here…
