I want to show Product Countdown on Product page and category page. but now Countdown showing on only product details page..

I want to place the counter in a part of the page as desired.
Display when the counter is activated for a product.
I found this short code
But it does not work

After installing the plugin for testing it keeps showing a warning about a Countdown Dates Format Error and won’t let it set countdown date/time? Don’t know what the problem is?

I am not sure whether it is used for countdown for close shopping or for coming soon of open product shopping?

If it is used as countdown for close shopping, the customer will can not place order when the countdown finished.

and if it is used for countdown of coming soon, there are two situation(actually, the following two condition are what we need):
1) the users still can place order, so actually, it is used for booking order, maybe all products will be sold out before countdown Finnish.
2) the customers can not place any order or “add to cart” button is unavailable before countdown finnish, only if the countdown finished, “add to cart” can be pushed.

would you please let me know what exactly it is used for? thanks a lot.

When I try and put in a date in either start or end date for the countdown I get a html validation error saying “Please match the requested format.”

In one of the previous support topics, I came across the following advice:

make sure that your theme has the following woocommerce’s hooks

woocommerce_before_main_content

woocommerce_before_single_product_summary
woocommerce_single_product_summary
woocommerce_after_single_product_summary

you can also try to add this to the functions.php file of your theme

if ( function_exists( ‘YITH_WPC’ ) ) {

add_action( ‘woocommerce_before_single_product’, array( YITH_WPC(), ‘check_show_ywpc_product’ ), 5 );

}

So my question is, how would I go about adding or ensuring that my theme already has these hooks?

The reason I ask is because, no matter what I do, I can only get the timer to show if I use the shortcode, and then it’s only shown in the description (vs. above the title, for example).

I already did the second part (adding the function to functions.php), but that doesn’t seem to have helped.

The plugin does not appear on the product edit page, there is no way to set the date.

in this plugin, timecounter can be modify or set in “simple product” , nagitivity is that it remove the variation(size), when we select “simple product” i need the time counter in “veriable products” can i get some help from here?

I will display one product with timer in home page, once the time ends i need other product to replace with start countdown.

Eg: product one with 15 mins timer and after 15 mins product 2 with same countdown or 25 mins timer has to be displayed.

I downloaded the plugin and everything shows up in the product edit section. I set the dates for the countdown, the plugin is enabled, but it still will not show up on the product when I save the settings.

Am I doing something wrong?

Hi,

I’m trying the free version first to test on my website and the setting is very simple and straight forward. However, I can’t find the count down on my product page. I’m sure I can see the setting from edit product page and has set the from date to yesterday and end date to tomorrow. Please advise.

I clicked product countdown for the given simple product – enabled it – put sales begin and end dates. After updating I don’t see the product countdown like I do on the screenshots.

I’m using your YITH WooCommerce Product Countdown (really happy of it).
Nevertheless, I would like to order my products by the time they have (for instance, less than 5 days, less than 3 days etc). For now, in visual composer, when I choose an element “Show the products”, I don’t have the option to order them by the time.

Can you help me with that?

Thanks for this plugin, I see that you have this filter:

$args = apply_filters( 'ywpc_showing_position_product', array(
                    'hook'     => 'before_single_product',
                    'priority' => 5 ) );

But then when you add action you have:
add_action( 'woocommerce_' . $args['hook'] . '_summary', array( $this, 'add_ywpc_product' ), $args['priority'] );

Making it impossible to hook in the countdown on any action except one that begins with woocommerce_ and ends with_summary

Can that be fixed so the filter can actually change the whole hook?
