Hello, thank you for developing such an excellent plugin. I’ve encountered two minor issues:

When the post count exceeds 100, the number goes beyond the parentheses.

When changing the search button text from English to Chinese, the text becomes cramped.

I just noticed that the Taxonomy Relation “AND” from the settings only works between categories and tags, but not between different tags.
My site is about a pastry shop. I have set categories like Cakes, Desserts etc, and tags which are Standard, Vegan, Sugar-free etc.

From the category filter i mark cakes, from the tags filter i mark sugar-free and vegan.
And in my results I get all cakes which are either sugar-free OR vegan.
I need it to display all cakes that are sugar-free AND vegan.

It is like the relation categories – tags is on AND, but the relation between tags is on OR.
Is this a bug, or it is a feature that the plug-in just doesn’t have?
And if it is the second, I saw on the advanced tab that there is “Advanced Query”. Can someone assist me in making the relation between tags to AND?

I found this plug-in few hours ago and there is only one thing i can say about it – I LOVE IT!!!
I have one small issue tho.
No matter what I do I can’t change the posts title font,size,color etc.
I tried from post layout option.
I also tried CSS. I have 0 issues editing the background, the tags (size, color,fonts) but I just can’t get the title…

I installed this plugin to obtain some search on filters functionality.
However, there was a conflict against other libraries or scripts.
Result was to lost some functionality of the widget “Custom HTML” of Avada’s plugin and the most weird thing is that only my user got affected from this. Other users can use this widget normally.

Is there something can be done about this?

Hello, I’m experiencing an issue with the “Filter & Grids” plugin on two different sites. I’ve built a custom post type called “progetti” (projects), each assigned specific tags (“types”) intended to display in the filter bar. Since the second-to-last update, these filters under the search field no longer appear.

The HTML container (<ul class="filter-entry">) exists but remains empty. I’ve tried different settings, disabled plugins, and created new pages with defined tags, but the issue persists, with no errors in the console.

Hi there, I’m currently working on building a custom dropdown filter layout using your framework, and I’ve encountered some confusion regarding the _target parameter. In the documentation, it mentions that the _target parameter should be a string that represents the name class target element. However, I am unsure about what the exact format should be and how it interacts with the generated HTML structure.

Should the _target parameter directly correspond to the class or ID of the <select> tags I am generating, or is there a different method for binding it to the filter functionality?

How can I set the default category to be displayed before users choose a different one. I want posts from just one category displaying at the beginning before users choose a different one.

I put this text in my functions.php file:

I am currently using Digicove Theme for my site and from the latest update of Bravis Addons, some widgets are not loading properly unless I deactivate the YMC Smart Filter plugin I installed. Is there any way I can still keep both of these plugins? As I am already using these on mostly of our pages

I have a filter post setup with two custom taxonomies, and all terms for both taxonomies selected. Unfortunately when I add new terms to these taxonomies, the new term is not avilable in the filter and when I view the form setting I can see ‘All’ is now unselected and the new term is not selected.

Currently I have this plugin setup on an archive page, allowing me to filter posts by custom taxonomies. What I would like is to be able to link to this page with a query string, that will pre-filter the results based on a custom taxonomy value passed in the query string. Is this possible?

I am trying to build a page that will allow filtering a custom post type by two custom taxonomies. Is there a way I can have taxonomy 1 use a dropdown and taxonomy 2 use alphabetical, or some other version of filter layout per filter item?

I have tried to create a new entry in the plugin but the query options appear empty and the menu does not work, when I click on any of the options nothing happens, neither does it access them nor does it display content.

Is there a possibility hide terms to show up in the frontend dropdown menu, without having to disable them in the backend. I still want the posts to show up, just want to be able to hide specific terms. Thank you.

I configured my posts to be displayed in a custom sort order under Query options -> Add post(s). However, the recent posts I added aren’t showing up. They only appear in the correct order when I unselect “all” and then select “all” again under either categories or tags.

Depending on the browser window with the preview image resizes without maintaining its aspect ratio, therefore cutting into the image. Is there a way to set a fixed image size / aspect ratio?

I have “Show tags” selected in the post settings (I have formatted using the cat-inner css class). I have 2 taxonomies (Email Type & Industry) showing as tags, and would like to know if I can color code depending on taxonomy. Eg. Email type in orange, Industry in blue. Great plugin BTW!

I really like this plugin, but on mobile, it can only display one language, while it seems to work fine on the web. My multilingual plugin is Polylang.

I’m trying to add Excerpt in post and I’m using this filter and grid plugin to filter the posts, but HTML is not supported. The <br>tag is not working.

I tried every possible way to break a line but NO option did worked for me.

Category Hierarchy
The latest fix for sorting Tags and Categories was very useful.
But it would be more useful if the category list could permit to show them with the hierarchy they were created in WordPress, I try to explain better:

Example, instead of (which has less meaning):
bathroom
car
dining table
garage
home
kitchen
office

Show them like this, with the same indentation symbols that use default WordPress when we create them (that has a logic construction, permitted by categories):
– office
– home
— kitchen
— dining table
— bathroom
— garage
— car

Is there a way to make the image and title link to the posts that display in the grid? We are using this as a project portfolio and don’t want a “view project” button for every listing, just the ability to click on the image or title to load that project page.

My question is just how can I change the cores of the “search button” elements (#098ab8), “dropdown” background (#141518) and “categories/tags” background (#000000) of each post.

I am sending an image as an attachment to indicate the elements.

I want to change all these colors to #2f3190. I tried to apply CSS to the child theme and plugin, but I haven’t had any success yet.

If you could show me the way to modify this I would greatly appreciate it.
