I bought the Pro and lifetime support, but did not recieve anything and also no response on the contact form. No other way to reach them because their e-mails also does not lead to anything but mail return to sender. Save your money! Not worth the hassle. (Update: After the review, They contacted me and got the money back.)

When the survey ends, the valid vote amounts are written, but when we look at the logs, there are more votes cast.
In my opinion, in the survey results, the number of votes cast in the total vote log records and the valid votes should be written in the valid votes section.
Additionally, a solution must be found for proxy logins.

The free version of this plugin is way too limited! I understand that everybody wants to make money but to find out if a plugin will meet my needs I need a little bit more to work with. That’s besideds the fact that the user interface to setup a poll is very confusing.
Lastly, when you uninstall the plugin it asks if you want to remove the plugin and all its data. Unfortunately it leaves the database cluttered with 9 wp_yoppoll_*database tables. That’s not what I understand under “remove all its data”!

We installed it back in 2014/2015 and deleted it, since then it’s constantly adding something like /?yop_poll_tr_id&yop-poll-nonce-1_yp588a4bc1cc6bd=ac3193f3c7 to every single url on website.
Now we have over 900k no indexed pages, problems with canonicalst and spending a crawling budget, and can’t stop this madness.

I can’t say anything about the plugin itself, since the free version is extremely limited. I can’t even add a second question. This is insane, to put it politely. Just a waste of time.

Nice plugin … but, does not work on my website because the wp-admin folder is protected – which I am not willing to change. This additional layer of security is a best practice before the WordPress Login webpage is displayed. Looks like file(s) in wp-admin are accessed to record (update) after choosing an answer and then the Vote button. The wp-admin directory login prompt then appears. If I enter my secret admin id and password, the vote is recorded, otherwise just “spinning” bubbles. Too bad, hoped it would work. Advise to keep the wp-admin directory alone for security purposes. Maybe have some way to configure where the record are stored on the website. Thanks,

the handling description is somehow weired and does not match a real life poll procedure. Working with 2 templates, some shortcodes and additional fields sounds strange. Where is the usability?

Tried several popular poll plugins but kept YOP-poll as final solution for my site as the free version perfectly fitted my needs.
I needed a bit of tweaking and ran into a small cosmetic issue… I contacted support… Even it was a Sunday I received the perfect answer within hours. I have never seen that even with paid plugins.
Many can learn from YOP-support.
I’ll support by upgrading to pro.

No ability to save work in progress? Just publish?
Unhelpful error messages that highlight problems upon publishing but don’t provide hints as to what configuration option needs to be changed?
What is this, 2001? I use a lot of WP plugins, some great, many well-designed, some not so much. This one is in the bottom-most tier. If you can use the free version, maybe it’s fine. If you can’t, save your money.

Was using the “FREE” version of YOP Poll, had some issues not related to the plugin but to my understanding. Emailed support and they were quick and to the point taking the time to help with the free version. As soon as I got done with their help. I went to the Pro version.

I think this plugin is best for adding a quick poll or survey to your website. It works quite intuitively and the plugin is overall very clean. I’ve purchased the pro version and I had some questions related to the video poll option – amazing how quick the YOP team replies and came with solutions. Definitely one of my favorite plugins.
