When embedding a channel is there a way to exclude Shorts?

We have it up and running on the desktops.

I just noticed that it does not show any videos on you mobile phones.

You get the countdown picture like you should. Then it just moves back to the “Coming Soon” page.

What, if any, changes need to be made to get this to work everywhere people are viewing it from?

I have noticed that pages with videos loading maxresdefault.jpg lead to the image returning a 404 error.

I saw this other thread https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/maxresdefault-problem/ from a few years ago discussing what looks like the same issue.

Is there a solution to this? or is this a new problem causing similar or the same symptoms?

Please advise, this gets flagged on SEO reports.

Hello- Trying to address the ‘Some third-party resources can be lazy loaded with a facade’ recommendation, I tried turning on the facade feature. The feature seems to work fine for me logged in as admin, but for other users a reduced-size static image displays along with a giant red video “play” button. Clicking on neither one seems to do anything.
Please advise.

Anyone know how to fix this? It wasn’t doing it until we added this plugin. We were using another lazy load plugin that used thumbnails, but that one didn’t have this issue. But we switched to this in order to disable multiple videos streaming at once.

I installed this plugin for the sole purpose of generating facades for YouTube videos. However, after activating it, but before adding a key, I was unable to save any of the adjusted settings.

There was a message that if it didn’t save to clear cache, which I did in multiple places to no avail.

It shouldn’t be difficult to properly install this.

Does YouTube WordPress Plugin by Embed Plus have the ability to individually skip lazy loading on videos I embed in my site?

Example: My homepage is getting dinged for lazy loading the first video. But the page contains others. So I just want to turn off Lazy Loading for the one video.

If I enable Flexbox on a element, and then wants to embed a Youtube video YouTube WordPress Plugin by Embed Plus” the video won’t show. If I turn off Flexbox, the video shows. If I embed the same video using Youtube embed code, without the plugin, the video shows without issues.

When I enable Flexbox on an element and try to embed a YouTube video using the “YouTube WordPress Plugin by Embed Plus,” the video doesn’t display. However, if I disable Flexbox, the video appears. Additionally, embedding the same video using YouTube’s native embed code works without any issues, even with Flexbox enabled.

For various reasons, I need to use Flexbox. Is there a workaround that allows me to embed videos using the plugin within a Flexbox element?

I am a pro user with this plugin on many of my websites so I am familiar with the process. I have just added it to a new website at https://mikesmobilebikerepair.ca/videos/ and I am unable to embed a gallery.

I can embed a playlist using shortcode, YouTube, and YouTube Wizard, without difficulty, but as soon as I try to embed a gallery I show a black screen with YouTube icon and link to “steps in this video”, which takes me to a video of how to create a YouTube API key, which I already have.

I am using WordPress 6.5.3 with YouTube WordPress Plugin Pro by Embed Plus Version 14.2.1.2

Is there a way to eliminate that? Movie size is proper. The facade image was generated by the plugin. I did not choose it. It is distracting on a white background. Would like it to disappear.

Hello, since version 14.2.1.2, our 10 000 Youtube API daily requests available are exausted in a few hours only, even if we don’t stream. Usually, it should remain around 3 000 to 4 000 daily.

We did roll back to version 14.2.1.1 to avoid the problem.

This plugin maybe isn’t compatible with Google Search Console’s need for YouTube videos to have a “thumbnailUrl” field. Specifically for all the videos on my website using this plugin, Google Search Console says: Missing field “thumbnailUrl” – Items with this issue are invalid. Invalid items are not eligible for Google Search’s rich results

I use other SEO tools to help fill in these fields and they don’t seem to be compatible with this plugin either. Do you know a way of being able to apply this SEO filed so that Google indexes and shows my videos in Google Search rich results?

Hi, is it possible to set the default width of videos in %? I need to use 100%, and I’m using the shortcode. I tried [embedyt]VIDEO_URL&width=100%&height=350[/embedyt] which is possible to do with the embed code, but that doesn’t work here. I’m not able to use the embed code in this case.

I’m using Oxygen Builder, and I need to open the video in modal. Even though I have the “Responsive Video Sizing” option enabled for all YT videos, it doesn’t work with modal.

Please confirm that the link works in your browser, and that?the owner of the video allowed embed sharing permissions (otherwise, contact the owner of the video to allow embedding). Then copy that full link in your address bar to paste here. If you are sure your link is correct, then (1) your API key may be too restrictive (check here) or (2) you have reached your Google quota (check here). You can apply to Google for a?quota increase here.

The link is correct, the API has no restrictions at all and I did not reach my google quota.

Any ideas?

We have a site with a large left column and a smaller right column

I am using the responsive setting because I want the videos to adjust to different size screens, but in Brave and Duck Duck Go browsers they don’t end at the side of the larger column, they cover the right column as well.

I have it turn unactivated and started using smash balloons software but would prefer to use yours. In the past on mobile in WP Bakery I would just paste the youtube embed for mobile and would use Unite Gallery for desktop. If I activate your plug in any embedded video in an html block disappears and thats alot of video on my site that I am not going back to replace. Is this common?

Hi,
I have a lot of YouTube video embed with the standard YouTube embed code. Those video are all showing related video at the end and I’m looking for a solution to not show that.

Your plugin seems add a way to add new video with settings that will not show anymore related video but it’s impossible for me update all existing video embed code to apply the plugin settings.

There is a way to include all video previously embed without your plugin? Actually old video already added are not affected by your plugin settings.

Hey Guys

I’m having an issue with the facade not loading correctly when video embeds are loaded with async calls, like pagination or filtering. This error occurs for youtube videos missing the maxresdefault image and hqdefault is loaded as a fallback. This works if the video embeds are loaded with a regular page load but not async, then the fallback hqdefault image isn’t loaded.

Everything else works really well but I need a fix for this because it doesn’t look very good with videos missing their thumbnail. It’s also confusing for the user because the image was there before the interaction.

Edit:
This could be resolved by setting Force Maximum Quality for Facade Images to Soft but that means that all images will load hqdefault images on async calls, this is not an option for me as I need high quality images(maxresdefault) whenever it’s possible.

The first few videos of my gallery play fine, but eventually it’ll try to play a video in the playlist, but I receive a “video unavailable” error and playback halts.

I originally thought they were only occurring on certain videos, but that is not the case. If you click around after receiving the error, you will see that the previously unavailable videos now play.
