Crashed our entire site due to lousy written php code so we had to spend hours on going into safe mode, disabling all plugins in database and removing this crappy plugin from our site.
Beyond that, it DOES NOT work!
Avoid like the plague!

I’ve spent two weeks trying to get my YouTube embeds to display at a certain default size with no luck. I accidentally find this plugin, disable shortcodes in Jetpack, and DONE.

Just after you embed a video, you get two links, one after the <head> tag and another under the video, both spam links for their products/websites.
Beside the fact that those links will hurt their site, they will also harm your site! Be aware!

This plug-in generates unwanted content when you use it, such as generating links to download other products from the author. You can remove the unwanted links by declaring CSS override for the DOM elements in that he adds:

At least this guy has taught me to not trust plugin developers. Make sure you guys check your website after updating plugins.
I would recommend you delete this or don’t use it because of the underhanded tricks the guy tried to do to get links to his webpage.

I had used the plugin “YouTube Embed” for quite a while with no problems. When I looked recently – after doing updates – they had modified the plugin to give themselves my pagerank via outbound links. There were 3 outbound links around every instance of video that I had used their plugin for. What a deviant thing to do. I will NEVER use this plugin again and I suggest you don’t either.
