It’s a cool plugin. Work like charms but don’t work with you.tube short URL which is a bit inconvenient. Someone already created an issue for it but it got closed without a fix. Would you mind fixing it?

It works for public videos only.

I have a custom field in a custom post type, where I would ilke this thumbnails to be added / uploaded. How can I make it happen? I need to take the youtube ID from a custom field.

The custom type is “videos”, and the field is “video_id”. I use only YouTube, nothing else…

Is there a way to get the play icon overlay to show that the post contains a video and not pictures?

When using a short url for the youtube link the script crashes. Full url is fine.
