Youtube plays fine, flash is installed, other youtube plugins work, just not this one.

Since upgrading to 3.3.1 the default shortcode player doesn’t work without defined width and height parameters.

Example this shortcode didn’t render the player:
[youtube] blahblah [/youtube]

But this shortcode worked fine:
[youtube width=”625″ height=”300″] blahblah [/youtube]

There is a conflict between Easy Recipe and the Youtube with Style plugin. If you activate hRecipe while the YouTube with Style plugin is active, the icon for Easy Recipe on the default WordPress visual tool disappears. If you inactivate You Tube with Style or Easy Recipe then the Easy Recipe icon will re-appear. There is a similar issue involving the visual toolbar between this plugin and the hRecipe plugin..

When installing this plugin I get this error:

Has to do something with the statsplugin JetPack.I deactivated that one and now it works.

Putting in two shortcodes with two different youtube id’s and the same id shows up for both vids.

Nothing shows on the iPhone / iPad… These days a YouTube plugin that doesn’t support those devices, no matter how nice the other features are, is like building a car without a steering wheel… Shame, really liked this plugin…

when using Youtube with Style and tinyMCE (manly + youtube sidebar widget) some functions not work proper.
I do love this pluggin but (unhappy) I cannot use it… or any solution?

When I try to resize the player to fit my holder all the controls in the bar overlap (viewing single video [youtube]23ljjbgv[/youtube]. Is there anyway of fixing this ie. removing some? controls shorting bars etc. if so which files.

i find the plugin very useful and nice. Though i wonder wether it is somehow possible to let visitors choose the quality (240p -> 1080p). Or as an alternative to set the desired quality in the options menu.
If right now there’s an undocumented possibility of doing it using flashvars given to the player.swf it’d be great if you told me.

The post containing the video only presents the output on the first page i.e recent posts. If you open a page through the category view to where the post was assigned no video appears.

Took down my whole website after activated from the plugs

Ok…I’ve honestly been trying to figure this out for a while and can’t get it.
The gallery feature means you can have multiple videos in a set similar to a playlist on your site.

If that is the case, how do I go about setting that up. I’ve searched just about everywhere and can’t find instructions ??

For me it does not work either. Funny enough, with some videos it does work.
The player is there, but you hit play, and the movie would not get played. further, the player show that the video is 0:00 long.
All the software is updated. The codes are right. What is happening?

I’ve just installed v8.7 (first time using the plugin and WP was updated to 3.1 yesterday) and when I add the tag to my post containing the vid ID, all I see on the post is the full address of the video.

I have tried it with several videos and nothing happens. This plugin does not seem to work since the latest youtube update, that does not allow 3rd party players, due to youtube ads.

I use this plug-in and everything is ok, but instead of showing different shots in every youtube-window, it repeats the first one.
How can I solve this problem??

Recently saw that there was an update for YouTube with Style from v7 to v8. I upgraded the plugin and activated it only to find a completely blank site with literally no code being thrown at the browser from the web server.

It did not result in a 500 error either, literally just resulted in… Nothing. Disabling the plugin solves the issue and I rolled back to v7.

I do have WP-Minify and WP-Supercache installed.

The YouTube tab that is shown to populate in the media manager of a post isn’t showing up for me.

Any known issues?
