Maybe I could be wrong but when I was embedding the video link directly into the WordPress Editor or even before that when I was using some other Plugin to embedded the videos; the Youtube Analytics was showing Views from my website in External – Traffic Sources.
But now even the videos are getting played with one click in Chrome and Firefox (included Incognito Mode) but 0 view counts.

Suggestions:
– Add configuration options for the [ytp] shortcode, such as customId, player width, hide options (play button, settings, full screen, etc..)
– Support multiple youtube link formats
