Hi,
I recently ran one of the recipe pages through Google’s rich snippet tool (https://search.google.com/structured-data/testing-tool), and it returned an error. The error was, “A value for the image field is required.”
There is an option in the Yummly Rich Recipes called “Don’t show Image in post”, and I have tried it with and without this option checked.
Any idea how I can fix this so that the schema is valid?
Thanks for your help!

Today I received an email notification from Google Search Console that the following page has a server error, under Index Coverage > Server Errors (5xx).

How do I go about fixing this? Should I remove the link from my sitemap? I’m not a web developer so I have no idea how to do this. I don’t want this to affect the SEO for my site. Thanks.
The plugin has been working fine until recently. Now suddenly when we click on the icon nothing happens. Can’t edit. Can’t create new. It’s dead in the water. Multiple people have tried in Chrome and Firefox, on a PC and a Mac, in different locations, on different computer. What’s up?
I just installed your Yummly Rich Recipes plugin into a plane WordPress site. Then Chrome developer tool and Firefox Firebug give me the error which alerts “ReferenceError: wk_bootstrap is not defined”. I checked all of the source codes of your plugin and the JavaScript links your plugin generate but I couldn’t find the definition of the function. Is there any solution for this error?
Is there a means to import recipes from Easy Recipe Plus or (better) will this plugin automatically read those recipes?
I’m about to migrate content from one site to a new one (using WP import feature – posts only) and the Easy Recipe Plus plugin is no longer available to me so I’m kind of stuck trying to figure out what will happen to my recipes upon import. Thank you! Your help is appreciated!
Hi,
Plugin author, please update line 1393 or thereabouts in yummly-rich-recipes/yrecipe.php to
$output .= '
' . $bootstrapcall .
'<img id="yrecipe-beacon" src="https://yummly-static.s3.amazonaws.c$

';
For people getting insecure mixed-content warnings with this plugin, change the src= from https:// to // or to https://
I have two issues the recipe isn’t being uploaded to your service AND the yum button of the plugin is not functional; the current script it void(0).
Please resolve this so it becomes a functional plugin.
Is this plugin still being updated? Or is it dead in the water? There is an option to have recipe ratings but that doesn’t show on my recipes.
When using the Yummly button, or Yummly Rich Recipes plugin, the popup seems to grab an image from the post content rather than the following, more sensible options:
It should be noted that the correct image is being used when viewing the recipe on the Yummly website.
This plugin would also benefit greatly from Media Library integration. The text field for copy/paste isn’t terribly friendly.
This plugin also needs to take advantage of WP’s image crunching functionality. Unless user’s are carefully optimizing images themselves, the flow of this plugin naturally leads users to embed full size images (sometimes HUGE images).
Maybe a select box that lists all defined image sizes or something like that.
This hurts your less knowledgable users and it hurts your plugin. I hope you guys have a big update planned or it’s going to be hard to move forward using this.
Good evening, I’m wondering if it is possible to display the plugin only for single post. Now I can see the text from the plugin in my main page of the blog. Since the plugin is retrieving the text from the plugin I can see the html in the blog page, so I would like to avoid to display it, so I can see it only in the single post, with the layout of the plugin itself. Is it possible?
In order to better explain what it happens :
Here’s the example:

Hello, i recently add SSL certicate to my site, so now i have https://silvanaskitchen.com.
Im use this plugin to post recipes, and i love it! But i have an issue:
when i open a recipe i receive on my inspector console a MIXED MEDA WARNING (this dont let the page get GREEN PADLOCK that get on the another pages, like home or shop) my console said the link with HTTP issue is: https://yummly-static.s3.amazonaws.com/pixels/wordpress-plugin.png?url=https%3A%2F%2Fsilvanaskitchen.com%2Fgluten-free-crispy-fried-chicken%2F (this change for each recipe) So can i fix this?
When I went to post a recipe today the yummly link button to add a recipe was not there. Had always been there before.
Hi
How can I change “minutes” and “hours” strings to “min.” and “hod.”?

Hello,
I would like to know if your plugin has an option for users submitting their recipes to my site.
Thanks

Hi,
Using Yummly here:

As you can see, the newer recipes are no longer showing their images in the listings.
This has started to happen recently in the last few days.
What sould we do?
Thank you,
Alexa
I have been having issues with only my older recipes showing pictures on the Yummly website but my more recent recipes do not show any pictures of my recipe. I have tried everything but still not sure what is going on. This has been going on for a couple months now. Please advise. My website is whiskitrealgud.com
Hi. How can I add the equivalent to
to the ingredients section to separate lines? Thanks.
Hi there – I recently installed the Yummly Plugin on my site, but when someone clicks the Yum button, it takes them to a page with an error, not the sign-in page or a page where they can save it if they are already signed in. Is there something further I need to do to make this work?
Hello. I have an issue with part of the way this plugin is coded.
I don’t totally understand it, but it seems that currently #yrecipe-container inherits the font family being used for headings, and passes it to all the content it contains.
For the headings (<p id=”yrecipe-instructions” class=”h-4 strong”>
), this makes sense, although I don’t know why they aren’t just h4’s.
But for the body copy (e.g.
) it should definitely just us the default paragraph styles, or list styles as the case may be.
In other threads I have seen the solution of adding this code or similar to yrecipestd.css:
#yrecipe-container, #yrecipe-container .sans-serif {
font-family: ‘Open Sans’, Arial, sans-serif;
font-weight: 400;
text-shadow: none;
}
But this is a poor solution, partly because it breaks the formatting options, like *bolding*.
I would like to request that you change the html in upcoming version of this plugin to be semantic and just use the styles defined on in the website’s css, for things like headings, paragraphs, and lists. I understand there needs to be css for the header button, etc, though.
Thanks.

I “yummed” my own recipe on my blog (rivelsandgrits.com/vegan-funny-cake) but in my recipe box the photo is not present. The yummly plugin recipe on my site, however, has an image. Could you please tell me how to make sure the image is added to the recipe when people put it in their recipe box?
Thanks,

Hi. Do you have plans to build in migration from EasyRecipe to Yummly Rich Recipes? I’m interested in switching but have hundreds of recipes now that I don’t want to switch over manually.
Thanks!
Andi
