Simply put, I have wasted an hour of my life, trying to connect my WP site with this hunk of junk plugin. Zapier support have known about this issue for ages, and they do nothing. AVOID!

This integration plugin simplifies workflows. However, the lack of detailed error messages when something goes wrong makes troubleshooting harder than it should be

I see a lot of bad reviews, I’m assuming it’s likely from people who aren’t super familiar with how API’s work and how to troubleshoot the failing connections.
Documentation for this plugin could certainly be improved, but it does work well.

Not happy, we’ve lost months of work and only coming back to this now and realised we are not alone in having challenges with this plugin.
Plugin was a key element to our automation workflow and was working BUT NOT for the last few months (since with WordPress or Zapier changed something))
As result we’ve had to pivot to other work AND and just reduced our Zapier subscription level by 90%. Will look to possible stop using Zapier and move to new alternatives
The lack of response from developers to user complaints only emphasises the lack of developer interest (I can’t remember if I paid for this plugin and only hope we didn’t)
I only wished I seen this rating earlier to avoid the pain and frustration.

Follow the instructions to the letter and all you’ll get as thanks are failed connections. Unclear documentation, help is displayed in the plugin. These are the trainees who had to deal with this plugin 8 years ago.

How can there be 50.000 installation if the plugin cannot be found in the dashboard af activating?
]]>Rating: 1 star
authentication failed: “The WooCommerce Zapier plugin is missing or WordPress pretty permalinks may not be configured correctly. File Not Found” response received. HTTP status: “404”
the credentials are correct. this plugin is ass..

The plugin works fine with a little bit of configuration, but Zapier itself has a known bug (as of Spring 2024) which means you cannot build Zaps around custom post types (per post by Zapier staff in their community forum).

I believe that most of those who are having problems here are using the wrong plugin. That should perhaps be better described. This plugin connects WordPress and NOT WooCommerce. If you want to connect WooCommerce, you need the WooCommerce plugin and then everything works flawlessly.

Strangely enough, it works for me. I was afraid to install such an unupdated plugin, but so far so good.

It takes a little doing, but it will work.

The plugin doesn’t work at all. nothing appears and the integration doesn’t work with WordPress.

We installed and there is not menu item anywhere. Not way to connect account.
I’m not sure what the point of this plugin is. It does nothing.

Contains a security vulnerability and does not work at all with up-to-date sites, completely broken.

Zapier allows me to do so many things I can not do myself. It saves me time and money, as I don’t need a wordpress developer anymore for simple and often also more complex tasks.

I’m getting a 500 error. Tried things suggested on here and at Zapier. No dice.

I’ve used all sorts of plugins and methods to achieve this kind of result, but none of them took 10 minutes to install, configure and get my first post out.
Follow bramblij’s instructions (cheers pal!) and it’ll work first time.

Fixed the installation issues ?? i followed these steps precisely and it resolved the issues.
I ran into issues before too, this above resolved it for me. now it’s working great.

Highly frustrating. Zapier, you are missing the trick

Really unacceptable behavior from Zapier here. This plugin’s code is terrible according to WP Hive, and I can’t even log into it to test it as it is so broken.

I concur, this is broken.

This plugin does not work. Totally useless.
Update custom fields with zapier is not possible.
And the plugin is not tested with new WordPress versions.
This plugin should be deleted from WordPress at all.

I don’t understand why wordpress listed this plugin ? Tottaly useless.

Does not work.
Have tried regular passwords and application passwords.
Have tried flushing the permalink cache. Have tried flushing/disabling the cache plugin.
Have tried a temporary firewall bypass.
This plugin appears to be broken.

Make sure you save your permalinks as ‘Postname’ in WordPress before trying to connect. This should fix the 404 issue.
