I had to deactivate this plugin. Now, surprisingly, I can’t remove it.

I am searching for an Gzip for my WP site so, I found this “complete” solution, install it and set it up, as I am about to activate Gzip and read this in description: “We purposely left GZIP compression out of this plugin, because GZIP compression is something that should really be enabled at the Apache” I don’t know any Apache or any other indigenous people to do that for me, what I do know is how to tick the option for Gzip, you know enable-disable… So I activate super duper boost without asking Apache to do that for me and guess what, identical test results from all over the place. I am glad this was a free plugin, since paying for this would be pure nonsense!

We tested this cache out thoroughly over several sites; as well as other high popularity cache programs.
For “Hyper Cache” Google-ranking load-up times are identical to not installing ANY cache at all, especially on our test eCommerce site.
“Zen Cache” appears surprisingly good though, so is W3 (w painful config) & Commercial WP Rocket. But “WP Fastest Cache” actually is sometimes SLOWER than no cache at all.
Agree with others here, while “Zen Cache” is a snap (1 Button) to configure, un-installing can be problematic.
What a minefield caching is!!!

Installed right now…
Very Fast with GZip Compression Enabled!
Many Thanx ??

been using the plugin for a while simple and yet powerful, hassle-free settings and the plugin does rest of the job better.
However, recently I have found out that the plugin doesn’t clear the custom categories associated with custom post types…. so I had to prevent the plugin from caching the custom taxonomies at all… it would be great if next update would fix this or let me know if there is any filter that can do the job??
Thanks

Light on the system but does the job reliably. Thank you

Hi, I used long time WP Super Cache, but as I use Weaver theme, which is only compatible with your cache, then I changed to ZC. Caching results are very good, but ZC hasn’t highly useful preload function. Thanks to this drawback ZC is useless for me – because each plugin update clears the cache and my page is for small amount of people then there are near no cached files ?? .

Stop everything you’re doing! First, uninstall any caching plugin you have and just install this one. After the install, just activate it and your site will be a lot faster than it used to be, that’s for sure!
Keep up the good work guys!

I have a multisite environment, with quite a bit of custom coding in the background. I’d tried Rocket, Super, and Total cache plugins, but all jacked up essential functionality that I needed. Zen Cache is the only one I’ve tried that did it right. I went from a 21s load time to 3.4s. I’m not exaggerating. It was that drastic. All I had done was activate the plugin (in their settings). I then went through the very straightforward (single-page) settings and tweaked as needed. While not as full-featured as the others, this was highly effective. This was exactly what I needed.
Downside: I’d like the “pro version for my Multisite installation, buy the cost is rather high for that. It’s a valuable tool so far, so I might consider the upgrade in the future. Guys, maybe reconsider the costs on Unlimited-Site License, or roll a single Multisite url into the Single-Site License.
Thanks guys.

As a matter of fact speeds up the page loading time BIG TIME! but doesnt work correctly on Internet Explorer. Parallax is blocked, and CSS animated images appear blank. Checked on 3 different computers from 3 different locations…
I understand it may be just a bug BUT lowest rating goes for being forced to open an account on developers website in order to report a bug.. i don′t have time for that and don′t feel like having to unsubscribe from a newsletter afterwards :/

I tested serveral chaing-plugins until I found zen-chache. It turned out to be the easiest and most effective plugin for both small websites and big ones with huge traffic.

Did not work in my website and when I tried to uninstall it was impossible, I got a 500 error page message. For some people has worked… for me was not the case.

I tried WP Supercache before ZenCache and a) got lost in the maze of settings and b) still had to push a button to nuke the cache whenever it needed any sort of updating. ZenCache solved both problems: There are a decent amount of settings but they are reasonably well explained and it has always managed to automatically renew the cache when needed.

Simply by installing it, ZenCache improved the speeds of my blog over the non-cached version. Advanced set-up is not needed to improve load times, but if used, the additional features are easy to figure out and help improve page load speeds. It’s not the fastest caching plugin I’ve used, but it’s still very fast. However, it’s very easy to set up and use and it causes fewer compatibility issues than any other caching plug-in I’ve used. That’s worth five stars.

The admin interface is really easy to use, not clogged with tens of pages and options and no added options in admin bar.
The default options are really good and it works perfectly out-of-the-box.
A really nice improvement would be to choose where the status of the requested page’s cache is shown: at the bottom of the HTML response or in a custom HTTP header.

No configuration required. No endless options and huge manuals to read.
I simply activated it and didn’t care about the settings. I do not want to waste my time with configuration.

“No configuration needed”
For once this claim holds true with both WordPress and WooCommerce sites. All working without any need for extra configuration.

Im on a hosted server at One.com with Woocommerce. I tested W3 Total Cache, WP Super Cache, WP Fastest Cache but all those got slow after a while or had some dumb setting that I dident like.
Then I found Zen Cashe and tested and now my pages are really fast after I got this easy and light weight plugin installed. Saves seconds and its stable and my pages load in a blink.
I combine with my favourite Autoptimize and they work like a charm together!

Speeds up pageloads, and makes WordPress much less resource intensive if you have any sort of traffic spike. Everyone should use some sort of caching. Seems like WordPress should really have caching built into the core.
