The only concern is that the class is publicly accessible for anyone to change, but WP is notoriously inflexible in customizing widget code.

Hi,
Nice idea, shame it cannot be used on Woosidebar widgets Left and Right ??

Good plugin but please remove your link under every text field, it’s quite annoying

Thank you very much for this plugin. It helps me to hide certain widgets on mobile devices using custom css. Thanks again.

A Must Use Plugin,
Very lightweight and helps style widgets to what they should be.
Great Work.

I am very particular as to what I use on my clients site. I am a avid user of Genesis/Dynamik as one of the reasons is the flexibility of the product. Alongside is one of my favorite plugins ZigWidgetClass which I read about in a magazine recently, tried it out and never looked back!
This plugin is a must as it easily allows me to add a CSS class to any widget. Period! Bar-none the best in its class (no pun intended ??
There are a couple of other plugins that mimic ZigWidgetClass and others that add this functionality to their plugins/widget. But this one is the simplest and hasn’t failed me yet.
One addition the developer has recently added (because I am sure he was reading my mind!) was the ZigWidgetClass name underneath the text box for the CSS class which helps differentiate between other plugins that add a CSS class text box to their widget/plugin.
Kudos to the development team.

tried various plugins that didn’t work with the latest version of Wp3.9.
This one does, thank you ZigPress!

I’m a big fan of plugins that do one thing and do it well, without unnecesary bloat… and this plugin is perfect. It does what it needs to do, and then gets out of the way.

Works like a charme.
Thanks for that!

Adds a class inline to the individual widget, allowing me to differentiate widgets of the same *type* with different styling. I subcontract for a number of creative advertising agencies who love this kind of design chaos. It took turning their PSDs into reality down to about a third of the time (on widgets).
