I’ve been thinking about using Zionbuilder for a while now, but I’ve got some reservations. It kinda feels like the updates and development have slowed down a bit, and I’m not sure what’s going on. Are you guys still all in on making Zionbuilder better? It would be super helpful to get more updates or some kind of heads-up about what’s in the pipeline. Just some more communication would be great, really.

Hello. The site has Zion Builder plugin and Promotion theme Version: 4.17.1. When trying to edit a page with the classic editor and creating a new page, White Screen of Death appears. And it is impossible to edit title and description.
Can you please tell me how to make it possible to create pages t how to edit snippets?

I’m trying out the free version to see if I want to move forward with this builder. I had blocksy companion, photo gallery, and zion builder, only 3 plugins total. I installed and activated the free version, and without adding any content or even using zion builder, the “zion builder assets need to be regenerated” message keeps popping up, even though I regenerated them quite a few times. No new media, settings, really nothing with the builder at all, or really any changes, this is a new site, it pops up every time I go to a new page. I finally deactivated it because I got tired of seeing this message without being able to resolve it. Can you give me any idea as to why this is happening? WP is up to date… Thanks!

Hi, to integrate the plugin with Squirrly SEO, we need a function to receive the HTML content and load it in the backend for the Live Assistant.

I see that the option to get the page content from postmeta returns the object but not the HTML to check the headlines, bold, etc.

Hope you can create a function to get the article HTML based on the post ID.

Is there an Add On or code to set the Element display (section option) for different types of user roles?

For example:

Element display show for LOGGED IN users with “Basic membership” role
OR / AND
Element display show for LOGGED IN users with role “PLUS membership” role

(multiple role selection)

includes/Elements/Style.php line 249 causes the site to crash.

commenting out this line, fixes the site.

I did var_dump($value) and it outputs an array. It seems the file is trying to add 1 to an array. As soon as I remove the + 1, the site does not crash.

I replaced $value + 1 with $value[1] and that prevents the site from crashing. I’m not sure what the intended purpose of the +1 is.

In Zion Builder, Everything is working on backend (editing screen) but not working on Frontend (live page).Actually CSS is not working on Frontend.

I am using Neve theme and WP Rocket Plugin on my site.

For some pages, I get this error.

My temporary fix, is to comment out line 249 of /includes/Elements/Style.php

it seems this line is causing the issue:

Hello, some thing strange…. I install zion free, go to zion dashboard and there white scrin. Look at console and see – https://i.imgur.com/87Ts6Gw.png path 404 files is – wp-content/plugins/zionbuilder/js/rest.js /wp-content/plugins/zionbuilder/css/admin.css
but when I go to file system on my server I see path – https://i.imgur.com/OQOuuyL.png and all files exist but in sub directory “dist”

when activating the plugin NextGEN PRO (version 3.0.18) your page builder is broken.

Following error is shown in the console:

Hello, I am working on one of my client’s websites and the anchor link is not working. can you help?

When using the front end or back end search, the content in pages that use ZB will not be found. For example, I added the default “Steps” template to a page. A search for “design brief” returns 0 results. The generated html (or at least the text) of page-builder content needs to be copied into post_content for the build-in search to work as expected. This will also improve your compatibility with SEO plugins, and improve the user experience on the edit post page by replacing the old, pre-ZB content.

We need the ability to change the style of a child element when the parent is hovered/focused. For example, making some change to the icon in a button when hovered/focused. Some common patterns are fading the icon in/out or increasing the spacing between the text and, say, an arrow.

While editing :hover styles (which should also include :focus by default because this is basic accessibility), the hover state should be reflected in the element. If I choose a color for a button, I want to see that updated live. Currently, you have to pick a color, close the color picker, then go hover over the element to see the change. Rinse and repeat until it’s the way you want.

After adding a url to a button, I clicked on it later to add an icon. It followed the link instead of letting me edit it. Produced “There was an error loading the content. Please refresh and try again” errors after reloading. Buttons and links in the builder should not behave as links at all.

I installed ZB to test on a blank localhost site running Twentyseventeen. The first thing I did was to insert “Steps” from the Core UI library. Each individual element (targeted by ID) has Roboto set as the font family. Font family should *probably* be inherited from the theme. There is no way to unset the font, and if there were, it would have to be done on each and every element.

Hi, I have a LAMP server on my local machine. Works well with other wordpress instances.

I’d like to try the new Zion Builder so I downloaded the plugin, put its files into /wp-content/plugins and it appears in my back office.

When I click on “Activate” this is the result I have :

Seems that the culprit line is here :

$manager = new Plugin( trailingslashit( dirname( __FILE__ ) ), plugin_dir_url( __FILE__ ), $plugin_data['Version'] );
	$manager->init();

If I test the value of __FILE__ on my server it returns a good value : “/var/www/html/test.php” so it doesn’t look like a path issue.

I have to delete or rename its folder to take back control of this wordpress instance.

Any idea ?
