Help. I can’t change the homepage. I’ve made the page called “Home” and choose no sidebar. And I’ve edited in Theme Options menu. But nothink. I just can see the slider but the others section doesn’t appear in homepage.

Hi – when I enable ‘show search in header’ the search icon is displayed but doesn’t work. There doesn’t seem to be any link associated with the search icon.

Hope this is something simple to fix.

Updated about a month ago the Theme AccessPressRay and when that happened the slideshow bar at the top of the homepage got a checkered veil over it and doesn’t display the images properly, the posts display differently, and the footer and sections are all messed up. I reverted to a previous version and it changed some but not all of the issues. Please advise what is wrong. I inspected the website https://www.americanglassguild.org (which is the site I’m trying to fix) and there is an issue with is an error
Uncaught ReferenceError: lightbox_html is not defined

guessing that’s some of the issue. Unfortunately we didn’t have a backup of the website at the time of the update (someone did it without knowing the ramifications; non-profit org without paid people results in some errors along the way) so we can’t just revert to saved site. So it seems the theme changed something in the javascript and how some of the scripts display. Please advise and help me out. Able to access ftp to transfer old java if need be, just need the site to work again. Thanks.

Is there any way to increase the number of characters displayed in the testimonial section in Accesspress Ray?

Also increase the time that each displays before automatically moving on to the next one?

I have a few testimonials but they are longer that the default number of characters. So I need to be able to display the entire post and increase the time between scrolls so that people have time to read them.

Is anyone else having an issue with their slider? Starting about 1-2 weeks ago, our slider stopped working properly. ALL of the slider images appear on the home page at once. The site is at https://buttonwood.org. Right now, we have only one post in the slider so the problem is not apparent. We typically have 7-10.

Thought it was a theme problem, but the latest update didn’t correct the issue, so we’re looking elsewhere for the answer to this.

The “Latest Blogs” section doesn’t work, even in your demo it doesn’t work properly. It repeats one blog post twice when swiped or if using pagination?

Have a project in limbo atm so please advise on a fix for this?

I downloaded AccessPress Ray and the homepage from the demo looks nothing like mine. All that mine shows is a huge slider (which i’ve kinda figured out how to change) but i’m missing the featured, map, testimonials.. basically everything below that. HELP!

I have added a down arrow key in my main menu to suggest to the users that there are sub pages. However these arrows disappear on small screen devices or when the size of the browser is made small. I am not sure if there is something wrong with my code. I tried googling but could not find a solution yet.Below is the code i added to get the dropdown arrow.

. I see that, if I do any customisations or add any shortcode in the post editor, these customisations are visible in the excerpts on the front page. How can I fix this?

Hi, an can i make the featured post alightment so that the other two will go down, or make only three featured post so that the right bsr is not occupied. I would like my right bar widget to go up not blocked by the featured posts.

I have my home page set to static and have selected another page on my website to serve as my “posts page”. I have some older posts that I successfully imported from my old wordpress site plus some new ones that have been published from the current site. I want it to show all of my blog posts and be sure it is showing new ones as I publish them. The problem is that it only shows three recent posts, not including my newest post and pulls none of my imported ones. My Reader Settings are set to show up to 100 blog posts for my posts page so that isn’t the issue.

I’ve been using this theme for a bunch of my sites and the auto update of the theme hasn’t happened until this last install. I have backups going, but it is updating each week…the difference is that I am using a different host for this client when I did the install. So I am thinking that the host when it did the install, is making this theme auto update. Any way to turn off the auto update for this theme?

I have used the theme appearance editor and have checked “Disable Social icons in footer,” but the buttons are still showing on every page.

Is there some code I can put into the Custom CSS that will hide the icons?

I am trying to put blog posts in two categories show they show up in two different places, but it’s not working.

On my home page, for the Blog Slider, blogs categorized as “Blog Posts” show up. On my right sidebar widget, blogs categorized as “uncategorized” show up. I want some of the posts to show up in both places, but even when I click both boxes to make the posts “Blog Posts” and “uncategorized,” they won’t show up in both places.

Is there something I’m missing? (I’m very inexperienced)

Is there any way to increase the testimonials character length on the home page? It looks like it is set to 140 characters.

Has something to do with the fact that I first worked in ‘static homepage’ modus instead of dynamic?

I used this theme to put together a site for a community organisation and it has started changing elements that I put in to Greek in certain browsers?
However it works fine in firefox…

I’ve checked all the elements where it is changing and there is no language attribute
– so does anyone have the slightest idea what is going on?

Hello! I think I found a bug.
After upgrading to 1.15.6 we found this glitch in the editor: “; ?>” appears at the end of the theme’s Sidebar layout box. What’s missing?

This happens in the editor for both pages and posts.

Any idea? fix please ??

I want to add a subtitle field to posts without effecting the pages on the site. The only way I can think to do it is altering the Header.php file, but I admit, while I do just fine with css, php is still a little new for me.

Any recommendations for a simple way to add a subtitle field to posts without adding them to pages?
