Hi – I am running the Activetab Child Theme with a left side bar. The Pages menu includes an option to make the pages full width with no side bar. How do I do that to bbPress Forum pages?

How does one center the logo and change the color of the menu?

At one point I had specified the background color of the regular (non-sticky) posts through the admin user interface. Since then there has been a theme upgrade and I can’t find it anymore. Am I just looking in the wrong place or can that only be controlled from css since that update?

There seems to be no way to Control the background color of a pinned post. I want the background color of the pinned post to be the same as all the other post. Because I cannot control this I can’t use pinned posts. I have to keep changing the date to force it to the top.

We use blog posts to announce events. Is there anyway of supressing the Date, Author and event type on posts. This information is unneccessary and the date of the posts confuses our readers. Especially when the URL of the hyperlink is used.

Hey, Im loving the theme, it has helped me out so much. But ccould you just tell me how to center the logo and change the colour of the menu? I have tried both but to no avail so far.

I’d like to have excerpts appear on my front page. But when I turn on that mode, the caption and information from an inserted photo appears in the place where the photo was inserted. In the middle of the post excerpt will be something like this: [caption id="attachment_75" align="alignleft" width="176"]. The picture itself doesn’t appear in the excerpt, which I actually would like. In full post mode, rather than excerpt mode, it works fine.

I’d like to change font and size of the site title, and I’d love to know what code to add to my style.css file. I’ve made a child theme and a couple of tiny changes, but I’m still very new at this, so I’m not sure the syntax for changing the site title style.

I suspect this is a very easy fix, but I’ve just started building my site in activetab, and there is suddenly no sidebar. The content that should appear in the sidebar is now at the bottom of the screen, in a single column.

I’m a bit of a novice with WordPress (that’s probably obvious), so I’d appreciate it if you could tell me how to fix this in small, simple words. I do understand the basics of the dashboard and such, I’m just not yet into coding. Thanks!

Please take out the footer at the bottom of the code.
That he might set a color, such as black.
And that color footer was the entire width of the browser window.
And in the footer widgets themselves are clearly the width of the pages.

since I have a lot of comment in my pages, I inverted the order of post, showing the newer on the top and the older at the bottom of the page. Now I would like to have also the “Submit comment box” on top, so users don’t have to scroll to the bottom to find the box for post a new comment.
Any ideas about the code I have to modify? I also search for a plugin about this, but I didn’t found anything useful…

I upgraded to version 0.5.6 of activetab theme and now my header photo is at the bottom of each page instead of at the top, where it used to be.

Using Activetab on my blog, in Chrome, there is only a single column. In Firefox, IE, Opera I see my site as 2 column like I want. It was working before today. Did I break something?

I rebooted, cleared my cache, etc, but still only single column using Chrome. Viewing with IE, FF and Opera are 2 columns.

Hi! I placed a “hold” on my plug ins via FTP because I was having the whitescreen of death invade my site…and was instructed to then re-try them one at a time.

Any suggestions how to do this? I went into the backend of my site and tried to reinstall 1 or 2 and got the message that I am unable to create a directory, and the plug in fails.

Do I need to delete them via FTP, and if so, will it do anything to the rest of the site code??

I am using the activetab theme with WP. When I am on the site and try to get to the admin section, or vice versa, I get the “white screen of death” and can’t go any farther. The only way to get around it is to start – and stay – at one or the other.

Any idea what’s going on?

I like the function “Excerpt”, but for the amateurs in Internet there must be a button “read more …” below each post. They don′t know the function “click on titel”.
Perhaps for one of the next Versions?

“Fixed” works fine, when window ist maximised or more then ~1000 px horizontal.
When Window ist smaler, the Menu automatic becomes static.

when logged-in as admin or … in other themes in the frontend there is a button to edit the post.
for me not “must have”, but usefull – perhaps for one of the next versions? (right from published/author/category will be place)

with the help of the Plugin “CodeStyling Localization” i did a translation to german (not the hole Text – only what i needed and understand – i don′t use calendar and comments).
If you tell me a mail-adress, i can send the .po + .mo files.
For what i need it works.

Is it possible to add the blog title at the top of the page?

I’m using activetab as the base of a site I’m designing for a client, and I’m wondering how you go about changing the colour of the top navigation bar. I’ve tried to find the code in the CSS, but haven’t been able to find it. I’ve been able to change just about everything else I was looking for, except for that!
