Also how to have the links open in a new tab if possible

I have a problem to set up the Post view on the home page like in the Demo site.

I would realy like to have the posts with the shadow animation plus the position of the content as folow left, right, left…

Could you give me some advise how to set this up?
Because when I turn the hompage display as “Your latest post” the view of the post are not like in your demo site.
