Hi,
I’ve been using Adaption theme for a few years now but recently noticed that the menu and cog widget are not functioning on mobile devices. It works fine on desktop (chrome and other browsers) but is not responding on tablet or mobile (android).
I have updated everything. I have also tried deactivating plugins one at a time to see if any were causing this problem but the issue is still there. Even with all plugins deactivated.
Any thoughts on how to resolve this?
Cheers
Max
Hi,
Is it possible to move the comments link to the bottom of each post – or just have it not visible and have the comments box visible at the bottom of each post in my blog feed?
Having it at the top of each post means the reader has missed it by the time they’ve got to the bottom of the post and would have to scroll back up to leave a comment for a post listed in the blog post list.
thanks!
]]>Hi,
I’m trying to find out how to set up the menu with apparent/child inclusion as you have on the live demo.
Please can you point me to where/how this can be set up please.
thanks of your help
]]>I would like to translate the words ‘Posted on’ which is above everything I post on my homepage, to my own language (Dutch). How can I do this or is there going to be an update on this?
]]>Hi,
I’ve installed the latest version of this theme. As with other threads, gear icon appears for mobile view.
I’ve attempted to download one of the given zip files, but this does not appear to available.
Could you help me get this theme working please.
I see get_sidebar()
is in the header.php file. How can I make a full width template for this theme?
I’ve made a child theme
Thanks, John

Any idea how to get the results I want?
]]>It’s me again. I seem to have a knack for finding issues. I have made a music page and once the music file is on the page – all of a sudden I can’t use the menu or gear toggle on my ipad (just for that page). It seems to work on the desktop and even a very old ipod touch. I tested it by using the sample page and trying the menu – it worked, then I uploaded music to the sample page, and tried the menu again and then it didn’t work. Any ideas…? Is this a theme issue or something else?
]]>So I’m not sure if this is a theme issue or not, but I thought I would ask.
I just started using adaption using a child theme. After styling some things I noticed that when I clicked on any of the navigation it kind of jumped and all of a sudden the text became a lot larger. I thought it might have to do with one of my styling things, so I removed everything including featured images, logo, etc and started back at 0. no luck. I went to the original parent theme and it worked fine, switched back to the child.. broken. I have tried it in IE and Chrome. It so far works in IE but not chrome.
Thanks.
]]>I was wondering if the featured image does anything on a page…or just posts? Does it have to be a specific size?
]]>Hey this theme is absolutely fantastic!
For some reason though, the advertised “gear” icon on the mobile version of the site (milewriter.net) isn’t showing up.
Anyone know what might be the problem?

]]>Hi
I love this theme, was looking for one where the navigation is on the left side. But i have a question for the toggle navigatoin (Parent Page, Child Page).
My Nav is some like this:
– Home
– Bikes
— Mountain Bike
— Cross
— E-Bike
– Contact
– Tracks
— Green
— Blue
— Red
I want the navigation behave like this: If someone selects Bikes (Parent) it should show all the Child Pages (this is working so far). But if someone selects a child page, the navigation close itself and shows the selected Page. After this step the visitor has to go back to Bikes > and select another child to see another page.
How is it possible to code the menu, that it will not close the Submenu, if i select a child page? I think this would be easier for the people to see where they are.
I select “Moutain Bike” and the Page loads, the Parent Menu “Bikes” should still be collapsed so that i can see the other child Pages. I hope you know, what i mean?
This is what i’m looking for: https://demo-rt.com/?theme=rttheme15
Is it possible to mod your menu to this?
Thank you very much
Sam
]]>It appears that there are ads that pop up in the top section of my site. It is odd actually because no ad actually displays, just a big space for one and the option to click out of it. I am not hosted with wordpress, I am hosted with siteground, and they told me that the ads are not coming from them.
Can you help me get rid of this?
Thanks!
How the hell do I remove the link from a comment date though? I cant seem to find the code anywhere in the theme files.
