Dropdown menu not working after WordPress core update. I guess Jquery component outdated. Please update theme or give any alternate solution.
]]>A very strange problem has recently appeared on my website, which is running the Admired theme. This despite the fact that I did not make any changes to the site or even log in to wp-admin in several days. The website in question is dialogosmedia.org.
Specifically, the background color in the footer, which was dark gray, same as the header color, suddenly is appearing as the same light gray shade as the background of the main body of the website. This has rendered the footer text almost unreadable. I’ve confirmed this across two browsers (Chrome and Firefox). I cannot understand how this changed occurred, and I would like to ask if anyone is aware of a fix, such as how to manually change the footer background color. Thanks.
]]>In the “Admired Options” I take the choice “Side position” “Three Column”. But how / whre can I use the three columns? There is no “Skin Style” choice.
]]>I “upgraded” to WordPress 4.5 yesterday, and since then there have been problems on my website, which is using the Admired theme and which has not had any problems with it over the past 3+ years. Specifically, now every time I open a posting or a page on the site, the formatting is incorrect, as you can see in the examples here: https://dialogosmedia.org/?p=6190 and here: https://dialogosmedia.org/?page_id=15. The title/header is all wrong, some things (date, edit button when I am logged in) are out of place, and all of this is forcing the sidebar on the right-hand side to actually appear below the main text of the page.
I tried getting support for this through my hosting company and they ended up almost destroying my website instead, and clearly don’t want to be bothered (or are unable to help and don’t want to say so). I’m not an “expert” and I have no idea how to get this working properly again. Is the theme still supported? Could somebody please help me? I really do not want to be forced to migrate to a new theme.

]]>Hi. Did anybody know, how to change the “posted on” date with the modified date. Our brainbase site is still a work in progress, so posts are modified frequently. Therefor it is better to display the modified date. Thank you for your answer.
]]>I have been using the Admired theme for quite a while. I wanted to change from two sidebars to one, and when I did, this extra meta box (its has bullet points with “Site Admin” “Log out” and “[Un]Subscribe to Posts”) magically appeared at the top of my sidebar.
*First issue: I already have a meta box on my site that I prefer using; I don’t want this new one.
*Second issue: I can’t figure out where the new one came from or where it is located (it’s not listed in the widgets/sidebar area), so I can’t delete it.
Can someone tell me how to delete this extra meta box?
Thank you. You can see it on my website: https://inkandpage.me

I am trying to set up the Horizontal Main Menu Item to a specific color for the current item/page, but have not been able to find the code for it.
Also, the option does not seem to exist under the Theme’s Header Options where it’s supposed to be.
I know the following code would be the general syntax but this doesn’t work with this theme.
“nav[role=navigation] .menu ul li.current-menu-item a,
.nav ul li.current_page_item a,
nav[role=navigation] .menu ul li.current_page_item a {
background:#f7df2b;
box-shadow:1px 1px 0 #000;
color:#000;
}”
Hi,
Suddenly I encounter en problem with the main menu.
We have en quite extended menu with several subs and sub-sub.
At the moment it’s
8 main-levels, with 25 sub levels, 72 sub-sub and even 20 sub-sub-sub
The menu configuration in the drag and drop window does not show the entire tree. Up to a certain amount. The menu-bar shows the links from the footer area and the login/logout option is gone. The navigation setting in appearance is empty and when we set that to the menu we have configured and save it, the menu-bar is temporary okay up to the amount of levels as shown in the drag and drop window. When we select a menu item to add or we add the login/logout function and save it, the entire menu-bar is thrown over again.
Please help because this is pretty annoying and a big issue for us.

https://www.skydive-leipzig.de
I deactivated the search box in the Navigation bar, but there still seems to be a “placeholder”, because if I increase the font size of the Navigation bar in that way that the last menu tag should be at the right end, it makes automatically a line break into a second line.
I`ve tried to fix as recommended here:
but it doesn’ work.
Please, can anybody help to fix it.
THX,

]]>I have been all over different sites trying different things so I hope someone can help me.
In the Admiration theme there is a js gallery for featured posts that is suppose to show up on the home page and it will show images for those posts. If I do not add a featured image with the post it shows a snippet of the text, and that actually works. If I add a featured image it acts like it is trying to load the image but never does.
Please tell me what code you would like to see and I will post it.
I am not proficient in php or js so you may have to explain a bit more than normal.
Thank You for your time.
I am trying to adjust colors of various things on the site via “Admired Options”. It is saving and I am deleting cache but no changes. Here is the Website in case you need to take a look, please advise.
]]>Hi there!
I’ve been staring at my blog for a little bit, trying to figure out what could make it a bit nicer.
I’ve thought about resorting the “collection” pages so there’s less options, but then I realized, there’s too many links on the drop down.
So, I was thinking, perhaps the first step in getting the page to looking better would be to get rid of the drop down on the menu.
Is it possible to do?
]]>Using MemberMouse the emails sent automatically to people signing up inserts HTLM br tag at every paragraph break. MM how to fix instructions:
In order to resolve this you’ll need to contact your theme developer and ask them to disable the auto-paragraph functionality. To provide more guidance you can mention that somewhere in the theme files they must be calling the following WordPress function:
wpautop( $foo, $br );
Can you please help? Thanks
]]>I made a change to widget-functions.php. When it didn’t work, I sure thought I pasted an exact copy of the original code back into it. However, not only does my website no longer work, even my dashboard doesn’t work. No matter what page I go to either front end or back end I get the same msg:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting ‘)’ in /home/www/test.cnbeyer.com/wordpress/wp-content/themes/admired/widget/widget-functions.php on line 14
Sorry, I can’t show the problematic line as I can’t access the editor either. (Like I said, NOTHING on the dashboard is accessible)
Could someone send me the correct file to replace the old file with? That seems the only answer at this point. Otherwise I’m going to have to junk the entire site (since I can’t get to my dashboard, I’m not sure I can even restore a backup.)
]]>Hi,
When viewing my website as a logged in Contributor, in the WP menu bar at the top of the page, clicking the Home menu button shows the options “Dashboard” and “Admired Options”. Clicking Admired Options results in an Access Denied page. I would prefer to remove or hide the “Admired Options” menu item completely for anyone other than Admins, is this possible?
Thanks.

]]>I am currently working on a site for the visually impaired and want to make sure that certain features that cannot be enlarged by a font resizer are more easily viewed by those with low vision. The icons are currently a bit too small and I’d like to make them larger. Is there a way to do this with the theme options or in the style sheets? Would a plugin help with this? Any help would be appreciated!
P.S. I LOVE this theme!
]]>I have a few questions regarding settings for the mobile version of the theme.
1) Is there a mobile version? Is it modifiable?
2) Currently it is showing the menu vertically, then the body, then the right side bar. Is there a setting or a way to adjust this? Can we allow mobile users to view the desktop version?
3) On the desktop version of the site I added a custom logo and the header was overlapping, so I adjusted the site title and description by setting up relative positioning like this:
#site-title {
position: relative;
top: 0px;
left: 150px;
}
#site-description {
position: relative;
top: 0px;
left: 150px;
}
Well, this has messed up the mobile version and caused it to not fit on the screen properly. Any suggestions?
]]>First, I love the theme!
Second, how do I modify the primary navigation bar so that the links do not wrap to a second line? I see it is set to 91.61%. Can I increase this and where do I do that?

]]>Top Nav bar flows into next line if I add extra text in any nav bar button and will not take text to right of top Nav bar (=blank )
I am not sure where to look for the appropriate code as the CSS file in editor seems to be empty and all the css seems to be within loop files, and the top-menu.php file has no dimension variables or containers in it.
I wonder if anyone could tell me please which file to look in and what I need to do to stop the top nav bar from flowing into the next line if I modify any text bettons, and to stop it appearing with no text in the blue nav bar to the right. Is it something to do with elasticity of the container or some right margins not lining up?
I notice in the image for the theme in advertising that the search box actually shows within the nav bar to the right, but in my live copy of the theme, the search box appears in the header.
