slider section integrated into the theme has disappeared

I have installed a theme aera child and the option slider section are visible and modifiable but nothing is displayed during the changes, is this normal?

ctrl+i goes emphasized, not italic

Hi,
Something strange happens in my block editor with this theme (Aera)
When I use the ctrl+i shortcut, or when i clic on the “i” icon, the text goes emphasized (bold+italic+red color) instead of italics.
I’ve been using block editor in many wordpress sites and this is the first time such a strange thing happens.
I need to have italics text by using the ctrl+i shortcut, or i clicking on the “i” icon. Now I’m manually editing the text in HTML mode, but it takes too much time.
I hope you can help me, thank you in advance!
