]]>I maintain a website using Agama for quite a while. Since PHP 7.4 does not get Security Updates anymore, an update to 8.x is needed. This is not possible for websites using Agama since an error by “kirki” is thrown. Various threads have already been opened in this forum, with no answer by Agama Support.
I assume that Agama is not maintained anymore and it’s necessary to change theme, since the last update happened in April 2022? Can anyone confirm?

There is a wordpress site with Agma theme as Parent, and Agma-child as child theme.
Currently running version 1.4.3 – want to upgrade to latest version 1.7.2 – tried to upgrade to 1.7.2 via wordpress updater and gettting a blank page.
Why is this happening and what is the best processes of upgrading without breaking the entire site? Does the upgrade consist of any breaking changes on an existing site running 1.4.3 Agama? (I saw it’s running bootstrap 4 from 3)

]]>At the top of the page (where the particles are) the theme comes stock with an image of mountains and a purple overlay. I changed the header image to something more suitable for my site but the purple overlay is still there. Is there anyway to remove it? Thank you.

The social icons on the footer keep disappearing whenever I add them, and revert back to the original setting of the theme. I’ve gone into Appearance > Customize > Footer, and ticked the ‘Enable footer social icons?’ box. Then I’ve gone into Appearance > Customize > Social Icons, and removed the default icon (RSS) that was there when I installed the theme. I’ve added new social icons and links (facebook, instagram, youtube, phone, email) and saved draft, but the next time I go into Appearance > Customize, the footer social icons have reverted back to RSS.
How can I fix this?

How can I add a link to the copyright footer so that it links to the copyright page? On the Agama Free theme, I’ve gone into Appearance > Customize > Footer, and written in the copyright text but I don’t see a place for adding a link. Where/how can I do that?
Also, the copyright link colour is not changing to the color I’ve selected. I’ve gone into Appearance > Customize > Colors & Styling > Footer, and the Copyright Links Color is selected as black in the color selector circle, however no matter what color I select, the copyright text in the footer remains white. How can I change the copyright footer text’s color?

there are no options visible in the custom settings on the right of the page editor. If I insert manually, the slider is below the title.

]]>I’m using Agama 1.6.8 for a couple of websites. I wanted to add a dropdown menu to one of my sites. The sub-menu items appear but unlike another Agama theme page I created this sub-menu doesn’t have a boxed area around it. Rather it just shows up as text underneath the menu and it’s impossible to read.
I’ve searched everywhere for an option to fix this but have come up empty-handed. Any suggestions?

Hi guys, I’m using AIOSEO and it’s warning me one of my biggest issues is the lack of H1 and H2 tags but I can’t find a way to do it! I’m assuming that I’m going to have to put something in manually on the additional CSS section as I have to do with a couple of other things?? I’m using Agama with the V2 headers.

The font is set to Raleway Regular, 14px. This works in Firefox, but not in Chromium nor in Opera (actual versions). What can I do to get this working outside Firefox? Btw: Linux Machine, no MS Internet Explorer or other Windows Browers.

]]>My site title is cut off on the right sight, shows only about 20 of 25 characters, on my own mobile and using Inspect in the browser: all mobile phones!
I use Agama free version and Header V2 in Customizer.
Agama claims to be a responsive theme. So this seems very odd to me. I switched to Agama recently and consider to switch to another theme.
Also because a large part of the header image is cut off on the left and right side on mobiles, instead of shrinking to fit. Image has recommended size 1920×960 px. I use(d) Viewport Height 65 instead of the default 50, in case that matters. With default setting for viewport height the result for the header image is somewhat better for mobiles, but on lap-/desktop a large part of top and bottom of the header image are not shown. I’m going to try to fix this using another crop of the original photo and may have to add a coloured border around it to get it right for most screen sizes.
The header image is something I think I can fix myself, although I regret Agama makes it hard to get this right. (Or am I missing something?)
But the site title I think the theme should take care of. How best to fix the site title so it is shown correctly for all common screen sizes?
I hope that Agama can work with Buddypress profiles.
I was trying it out and strangely the Buddypress Cover is not visible.
If I try to adjust it – by choosing div as relative then it affects the Messaging Layout badly in Better Messages.
Is there a new update or something ?

]]>When viewed on iphone mobile phones, using safari or chrome browsers (all versions of iphone from 8 to 11) the mobile menu is being overlapped by page content.
It makes it difficult to see the menu and the page content as the overlapping issue causes so much confusion.
The submenu no matter how I try and grab the CSS also is too big. Not sure what the CSS selector should be for the sub menu. Normally I would set the z-index higher but tried that and no luck. I need this done asap for a massive marketing launch in google keywords this week. Please advise.

I use Agama theme on different website and I have never encountered any problems. Indeed I have always considered it a complete and versatile theme.
However on the last site I create, When I visit the site with Safari with Iphone the screen trembles. This problem doesn’t exist with firefox or other browsers.
What can I do?
It’s a problem linked to devices?
