When trying to add a social icon menu to the footer of the site, there is no option for actual social icons, just text links. Is there another way to go about this, or is this feature disabled?

When I moved my blog posts page to a new page location, it stops showing descriptions for each blog post.

While logged in though, I can see the descriptions. Only to the public is it not working.

Under Settings > Reading > Post Page, I have set it to the new page properly.

My Ajaira theme started crashing yesterday out of left field with this error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_body_open()

I have not made any modifications or custom changes whatsoever to my WordPress site so far this year. This started happening yesterday and I am not sure why.

I have tried reinstalling the theme and I still get the same error. I have had to switch to a different theme to get my site up and running again. (If you look at my site you will see it running with the new theme.) It works fine with a different theme, but I wish to go back to this theme.

Anyone else having this problem? Any ideas on how to fix it?

Hi,

I’m using the Ajaira theme, under the themes customise options, whenever I attempt to change the Link Colours under “Header Social Options” the customer returns the error, “invalid colour value”. This can’t be corrected or returned to default manually and prevents any of the customizer options from being published.

I’ve attempted to restore it to the default value using the provided reset button, however, it won’t accept this. It won’t accept colour variants as either 3 figures i.e. #000 nor #000000 and nothing that is copy & pasted in as a value nor selected using the inbuilt colour picker works.

The only way to get out of the error loop is to refresh the page and accept the default values prior to making any changes.

Does anybody know a solution to this or is this a known bug?

Hi all.

Having a bit of trouble getting text in my post to bold. It shows up bolded in the visual editor, but when I preview the post, the text isn’t bolded. It does look slightly different, so maybe something is going on that doesn’t quite look the way I want it to, but for all intents and purposes it’s not bolded.

I’ve tried adding custom CSS linked to the strong tag, but no luck.

Any advice?

I’ve selected for the social media icons to display but whenever I insert Facebook, twitter and Pinterest urls they don’t display even when it’s blank except for #. Instagram and YouTube Do.
Also how do I remove the author from the homepage?
Is there a best image size to use?

I have a menu setup, in the navigation bar, called Family

On hovering over the Family link in the navigation bar, the menu items appear and clicking on each takes me to where I want to go – great.

However, the Family link also allows me to click on it which then takes me to a blank page which I don’t want…

I was hoping to set my menu so that hovering or clicking on Family brings up the menu items only

Can anyone give me tips how to fix this ?

I want to be able to choose when my excerpt cuts off (via the read more button when editing the post). I went to settings >>> reading and selected “show full post,” but it still shows only the excerpt. Is there a way to show the full post?

I just downloaded this theme for my new website and I love it. I entered the links for my social sites in theme customization, and the buttons show up as long as I’m in the theme customization area. As soon as I go to view the site, however, the buttons disappear. The links are present. I can hover over the spot where the button should be and it indicates there is a link there, but the button is black on a black background.

In the header social options section, if I try to change either the social link color from the default or the social link hover color from default to any other color, I get a little message that says invalid value and prevents me from saving.
