Hi there.

I’m having trouble keeping my archive pages as EXACTLY the same as my home page. Instead of a blog excerpt my category pages will post all the content on one long page. I’d like them to look as they are on the home page of : pokemongotips2go.com instead of looking like this: https://pokemongotips2go.com/index.php/category/beginner-tips/

I use the Almasi theme. Any help would be most appreciated.

Also could someone please tell me how to narrow the paragraph width on my page, so it doesn’t overwhelm the page with words?

I’m having an issue that I have not encountered before. I have been creating a website and in the middle of it, decided to change the theme. I previewed the Alsami theme (the one with the diamond on the preview) and had clicked the customize link (while still in preview. It connected fine that time. I liked the theme and clicked saved and activate. It started the”loading circle spinning in the middle of the page but never loads the activated customize menu page. I clicked the x button and went back to previous page to get to the dashboard menu and tried again and got a 404 error page. I only got it once though. I also refreshed my other browser website viewing tab and the new theme was active. I can access everything else but the customize page. My website is https://www.idl.allstaryouthdrumline.com I hope you can help as I don’t know what else to do. I do not know anything about going into files etc. so if that is needed please tell me how to do it. thanks!!!!!

The circles? Oh, those are just your good old pages my friend – the process is much the same as writing a page. You then just add a featured image, publish, visit the widget area, drag and drop the custom widget, configure and hey presto – bobs your uncle ??

Where do you find a featured image and how do you insert it? Do you Insert it in the Widget – if not, how do you align it above the widgets.

I keep getting the #4 showcase widget below the #3 showcase widget, and if I delete #4, #3 then moves under #2.

Any trick to get them to all line up?

I have a problem with a menu item which has only children.

When viewing the site on a smart phone or in a small window the menu becomes a button and all top level items can be seen. However only the top level child item can be seen.

Hi! I’m trying out your lovely theme but I’m getting an error message using the RSS Feed widget. If I click on the hyperlink, nothing happens, but, interestingly, if I click on the RSS icon, it does in fact take me to the feed page.

As an aside, the feed shows up just fine if I use the Meta Widget instead.

Error message is:

Unknown Feed

RSS Error: A feed could not be found at [https://www.]sitename.com/feed. A feed with an invalid mime type may fall victim to this error, or SimplePie was unable to auto-discover it.. Use force_feed() if you are certain this URL is a real feed.

Hi i have installed Almasi wordpress theme on wp version 3.8.1. Everything works fine except that the menu bar is not responsive when view on smart phone such as iphone and samsung. The alignment of the webpage will be affected with the menu navigator drop down button displaying al the way to the right.

Please advise what to do with this situation. Many thanks for your kind advice.
