The current image is ‘thunbnail and the images become ‘squished’ because the height is set at a prescribed height in the theme.
I added Custom’ CSS to set the width to ‘100%’ and the height to ‘auto’…
.post-thumb .thumb-wrap a img {
width: 100%;
height: auto !important;
}…but the theme loads the ‘thumbnail’ image size and the resulting image is blurry.
Is it possible to have the ‘medium’ or ‘large’ image size as an option for the main landing page?
I’d like the images in my site at michaelguillebeau to come up with no captions on them. I can make them go away by clicking the “-” sign, but I don’t want my users to have to do that. Thanks.

I’m using this beautiful theme (Analytical), and for now, I found only two problems:
1. the youtube videos are not visible for all devices. In particular, on Pc is regularly visible, but on smatphones and tablets no. Maybe I have to add some code? Please help me, I’m blocked. I tried some plugin, but the resul is the same.
2. on mobile phones the blog is small and pushed on the left with small charachters. my firends have to enlarge the page to see something. how could I show a larger page to let them read in an easier way?

I am using the latest version of analytical lite theme from Sketchtheme.
When I installed it once ago I found some options where I could decide if the blog sidebar is shown on pages and/or on posts.
I disabled it on pages but held it on posts.
Now I wanted to disable it on posts, too (just because the sidebar reduces the width of the posts unnecessarily).
But I cannot find this option anymore.
Neither in the settings of wordpress nor in the setting of the theme.
But – I even cannot reactivate the sidebar on my static pages…just because both options are gone.
I imagined I just HAD theese options … does anyone else also remember them and can tell me where I can find them?

ok, now, the issue.
the theme work well with youtube videos. No problem.
But I want to have my own videos. so I upload a flv file on my host (mp4 doesn’t seem to work). It works with firefox and, surprisely, it doesn’t work with IE, opera and safari.

]]>I fairly new to designing websites and this is the first time I’ve used a child theme. I installed and activated Child Theme Configurator plugin. When I go to my Style.css and copy/paste the original parent theme’s style sheet after the @import line. The transparent background on my home page goes away. Just pulling the parent style.css there is a box around the home page text (just like the navigation bar on the left). Also, at the top of the left sidebar, there should be a + or – sign to show or hide the sidebar, now all I get is a red box.
