Hello!

I’m having a strange issue throughout my site on all pages.

Any page opens quickly but then it keeps loading something for at least 2 minutes.

The issue is specifically linked to Ares Theme, or a customization of it, I’ve tried switching to default theme with Health Check plugin and the problem was obsolete.

It is especially noticeable in Chrome and Firefox due to their loading animation in the corner of the tab and also a “loading” and “waiting” text at the bottom.

Would really like to solve that issue.

Hi, great theme! but i can’t get it to show the right sidebar on the front page. it shows full width on the fron page as default and there is no way to change/customize it. how to i show the right sidebar on the frontpage? thanks a lot!

I’ve been successfully running a WP site based on Ares since 2015. In the last week, the site is now serving up only blank pages. A glance at the source of one of those pages shows this error message –

<b>Fatal error</b>: Call to undefined function of_get_option() in <b>/home/breakwat/public_html/wp-content/themes/ares-child/header.php</b> on line <b>42</b><br />

Why would this suddenly break, and how can I fix it?

On my website, the latest posts used to display on the homepage between the three icons and the footer. But now, it seemed like they have disapeared. Any idea on how I could put them back there? Widgets seem ok.

I’m trying to find how to change the size of the logo for the mobile version by css.
I did a page with this theme few years ago and I found it but now I have to recover all the theme and I’m not finding how to do it.
I have a child theme installed, but I also have a folder that I named as Ares mobile that the style.css where logo is changed with a different size.

Could you help me? I don’t remember if I can try to upload a mobile theme in wordpress or can I change the size with a code of css that only affects the mobile version?

Is it possible to have the navigation bar not stick to the top of the screen when I scroll down the page? I would much rather it not be fixed up there. Please let me know if this is possible.

I have a blog page but I only want a certain category of post to show on that page. I have made a category link but when I view the page it is showing the post but it is showing the whole thing instead of just a snippet with a read more button like the normal blog page.

How can I set this category page to look the blog page?

I am running the Ares theme and am using the slider at the top of the page. I was working on a new page and when I went back to the home page the slide wasn’t showing up anymore even though I have it set up in the theme options.

Can someone help me figure out how to get the slider working again?

Hi, I would like to use the Contact Us (Envelope) button in the header of my ares pro theme.

I have selected yes to this option in the theme settings on the header tab and entered in a valid email address but when I test the contact form on the site I get the error “Email not sent, please try again later or check the mail settings”

Any suggestions?

I have everything working well and configured but have login/register for users enabled and it messes up the top covering the title. So trying to find a way to hide the wp login bar so it doesn’t make it look bad. I’ve tried plugins and code manual input but when I do that it makes the footer CTA text and button not visible as well. Is there any fix for this? I love the theme other than this but I will have to switch to another theme if I can’t get this to not look dumb.

This theme looks good at first sight, but beyond design there’s an outdated and broken code.

There are huge layout problems on mobile and some IE versions.

I have an Ares theme.

When I access my website on a mobile device, my logo header doesn’t show in the header. The menu in the header also doesn’t show…well, it shows as a rectangle with an X in it. There are 3 default icons (Box #1 Icon, Box #2 Icon, etc) that came with the theme, located in the middle of the page that also show up as a rectangle with an X.

On a tablet: the menu, logo, and icons show up okay. But the phone number after “Call Today” doesn’t show up (though it’s still clickable). It’s in the CTA Heading 2 box.

As for the logo, I’ve tried using a jpeg version (per other posting I read) but that didn’t work.

I just download free version, and I would like to my page to be full width page, I already chose the template without sidebar in theme option, but my page still has background width with color at both side, is there any way I can set to full width page in free version?

I am trying the free version of Ares. When activating WooCommerce, the product page is not aligned properly and part of the product picture falls off the page. I wonder if this is different in Ares Pro?

I would like to add an extra image to the homepage slideshow, can you tell me how can I do this?

Hello friends I am seeking your advice on how one may change the font colour of white that appears over the slider image on main page? If one uses a lighter colour image then the white font is not legible. How to change to black? Is in Camera.js?

Is there a way to adjust the speed at which the testimonials in the Ares Testimonials widget (for the Ares theme) cycle? My client wants the testimonials to move a little slower, but I don’t see any settings to change this.

I just purchased the Ares Pro and I thought it would be much better with a paid version and to tell you the truth, ITS EXACTLY THE SAME> Your videos dont help.
I need to move things around and change size of font. What it looks like in the dashboard does not look like in the published version.
I have MANY questions about this product.

I bought Ares Pro. Your website said that it comes with Our Team Showcase Pro plugin, but I didnt see that as part of the zip file I downloaded. How do I access it?

How do I remove the LinkedIn button from Ares (pro)? The organization I’m web designing/webmastering for does not have a LinkedIn, so it seems odd to have that icon at the top of the homepage.
