Hi,

There are two issues with comments in the theme:

It is impossible to leave a comment even when the user is logged in. In comments.php L.45, the code tries to know if the user is logged into the site using $user_ID but this is undefined as of latest WordPress version (6.5.3). Therefore, logged user are not shown the comment box. This can easily be fixed by replacing $user_ID by the is_user_logged_in() function.

In case the user is not logged in, it is supposed to have a message with a link to easily log in, however the message is escaped, therefore the <a> tag isn’t rendered.

I have uploaded images with resolution 1920×1080, but after publishing the page, the sliders background images resolution is very poor. Is it a limitation of the free theme, or a setup problem?

I have the ArileWP theme and the Arile Extra companion plugin, and have also installed polylang.

I am not able to translate the content of the frontpage. The theme sets the content through wordpress customizer, and I do not see any option to change the texts or add different content (services etc). In Polylang->string translation the texts from the customizer do not show up.

Am I missing something?

I’ve recently installed Arilewp theme. Everything is ok, but comments section doesn’t work well.

– Commenting form is shown in posts
– there are blanks for entering name, email and comment, as well as, submit button
– in the setting, it is allowed to users to comment on every post

When a user click on submit button, after input requirements, a blank page would be showed and nothing happen… with any error

where is the problem?

I have a form on my page and i really want to hide the header image there, or make it much smaller as it distracts from the form, and on mobile it takes too mich space.

how can i do that?

Also… on mobile the menu is rather big, so people need to scroll a lot before entering data, how can i fix that?

Hi The Arile Extra plugin is causing Fatal Errors.
When I disable the errors go away when a enable the plugin they are there.

Not sure how I can fix this.
Any guidance or tips would be appreciated.

So i added a Site wide footer and header to my website. using the Theme Builder option And since doing that my ArileWP theme’s main page slider just does not want to display.
I have cleared my cache, disabled and enabled it and i don’t use any other slider plugins.
Using Elementor Pro on the website.

I am trying to replicate the front page full with slider of this template on regular pages throughout the site. I do not se a way to use the main slider throughout, so I am using Smart Slider 3 to create the slider. It is shown on this URL at the top, with teh slides changing. However, I cannot get it to go fill width edge to edge because it is “trapped” in the body container of the page.

I do not want to change any CSS on the page widths because it will throw everything else off.

Is there a way to have a full width edge to edge slider on the regular pages throughout this template?

Hi there i was wondering how do i reduce the height of the slider on the main page ?
I added 3 images with text and link but the image are fairly big so i need to scroll to get to my next content and would like to reduce the height but still keep the width over the entire screen.

I’m using your ArileWP theme v2.5.9 in wordpress with the lastest version.

When i customize the main slider on main page, there exist the ffollowing :

–Can’t delete existing slides (clicking on Delete field has no effect)
–Any changes I make to the pictures or text for existing slides are ignored
–Shift + edit button, mouse will focus on the “Add new slide item” instead of the specific content to be mofified

The above problems also appear on the “Theme Info”, “Service Item”, “Project Item”, “Testimonial Item”.

Please help me under the free version plugin.

Is there any way to make the working area, the part where pages and sidebars go, any wider than the default? I’m new to WordPress and haven’t found a way to do that with this theme.

I want to edit the homepage/front page of the pro version of the child theme with Elementor but I keep getting an error that says ‘Sorry the content area was not found in your page’ ‘You must call the_content function in the current template, in order for Elementor to work on this page.’

I am only able to edit the homepage/front page through the ‘customize’ button and the options that the pro theme came with. I would like to make the homepage/ front page SEO friendly by using Rank Math through Elementor. But I am unable to get access of the homepage/ front page through Elementor. Is there a step by step instruction for me to do so?

When I add pages to the website, then the theme works through Elementor. It is only the homepage/ front page that came pre installed that I have a problem with.

I love your themes. But I cannot stand how fast the slider changes images. Seemingly every 2ish seconds when your mouse does not hover over it. From my understanding you have made this a PRO feature to change the speed? I do not need all the features that the PRO version offers… I just don’t want the image changing so quickly…. Is there ANY way to fix this?

I uploaded a slider image that is the same size as the provided sample, but it is really pixelated/fuzzy, even at 1,920px × 800px

What am I doing wrong? What size image needs to be in that front page slider?

If I apply a header tag, e.g. <h3> to text that should be next to an image, it “breaks” the wrapping of the images that are aligned right. See these example screenshots:

In the editor, it looks as I’d expect. With the image block before the heading aligned right, the image sites next to the heading below it.

I have installed this theme but on the home page there is nothing it only shows the recent comment, post and etc. I have already change the detail in setting to the home page. I can’t see the sliders and other sections.

I need help to have image on the main page start from the top of the page and move navigation menu, logo, etc overlaying the image. The other theme explains to handle it by going to page/settings/overlay Navigation (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YdGWXA0J6J0). I don’t see that option for Arile theme.

I’m trying to configure my blog using ArileWP. I add an entry to my blog, and enable the blog section on my frontpage. I can see on the frontpage the entry that i added, but instead of showing only a preview of the post (like the extract), it shows the entire text.
How can i show only the preview of the post, or just the title? Can it be done with the free version?.

I just installed ArileWP and like the look of the website, but I am having a problem with a section. I was wondering how to make the Theme Info Areas Options to function. I am not sure what this areas purpose is, if it can’t be interactive. Am I missing something easy, or is this just for text purposes with no actual function?

Also, is it worth the $59 for purchasing the Pro version? How many features are actually improved or can be improved?

I have a issue with my home page. When i visit the page it says that the connection is not fully secure (there is a i in a circle before the url instead of my favicon). I have a SSL certificate and https enforced. My site url is also https://****. Other pages of this site don’t have this problem.

I had my hostserver upgrade my .php to 5.6.38 (verified) and upgraded to WP version 4.7.16, which is active. I cleared my browser cache. I deactivated and reactivated Arile Extra.

Still no Front Page Features.

Am I missing some basic step that will get it working?
