I redesigned my site using Ascend and page speeds increased immediately. My old theme relied totally on the sluggish WP Bakery Visual Composer. Kadence has built custom composer blocks that integrate with Gutenberg flawlessly. Gutenberg is the future of WordPress. Every theme developer should be designing in Gutenberg and getting away from using third-party content composers. The Free option of Ascend has TONS of styling features. I can’t be more satisfied with Ascend. Kadence, thank you for making this theme available.

I don’t understand why this theme hasn’t got a million plus users. It’s brilliant – totally customisable and versatile. I’ve used it for a small business e-commerce site, a health info site and a showcase site for an artist. Ascend’s predecessor was Virtue which has 40K+ active installations. I loved Virtue and Ascend is even miles better.

I recently installed the Ascend theme for the not for profit I volunteer at to replace the Avada theme I had difficulty to understand and work with. The Ascend theme is easy to work with, yet powerful and it fits our needs. I love the extra plugins to customise WooCommerce which will help us optimise conversions in the online shop. And being able to work with Kadence Blocks is great, as volunteers from all walks of life can edit the pages without prior knowledge.

I love this theme. I love the locked header when you scroll. It’s also quite easy to customize. You can even upload their mock-up site for you to use and change to your content. The support is always helpful as well.

Kadence tools are great. However, the Base Demo home page does not work with Elementor Page Builder (free version). All the other versions work fine. Please fix!

I’ve been using Kadence themes for years now. I’ve tried others but always come back to Kadence. I’ve found Ascend to be flexible and again, service is incredible. It doesn’t rely on a Facebook website like some other themes. I cannot recommend this theme and company strongly enough.

I love Kadence Themes! Ascend theme is excellent with beautiful styles and features and the support is great.I started with their premium Virtue theme and they took it to the next level with Ascend! tried the free version and loved it so much i had to get the premium version. it is that awesome!

Recently I tried adding the “Forum” capability to my web site. When I tried to do “chat” to see if it worked I tried chatting with myself. However, when I asked myself a question and I answered the question, the answer did not appear in a “chat box” location like in the middle of the screen like you might expcect it. Instead, the response appeared at the very top of the webpage and the answer took up and entire rectangular block across the screen with the answer in very large font. The tech support guy at WordPress had to scroll clear up to the top of the screen to see it and then he told me about it. He said the response definately should not have appeared where it did…… any ideas on how to fixt this?

If I could give you ten stars, I would! This is hands down, the absolute best theme I’ve ever used, FREE or Premium. Easy to use out of the box, up and running in just about 10 minutes.
Usually I have to customize, so I always have to create child themes. This one had all the options I needed right in the Theme options panel, so I didn’t need to create anything. Also, so easy to use WooCommerce with it. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your theme.

Ascend theme makes a great base for a custom build and looks just as great with the layouts and settings.
I highly recommend Kadence Themes to anyone looking for highly functional WordPress theme. The Premium versions are well worth the investment.

I started with Kadence’s Virtue free in 2014 and soon had to buy the Premium because it was great and i needed the extra features and support.
Since then i found out that Kadence Forums is THE place where i get the best support ever.
I am so happy with all the products and support offered by Kadence that i simply had to buy all they have to offer.
Today i am building my third Project on Ascend Theme and i am surprised how easy it is to build so many different styles with the same Theme.
Free or Premium, you can’t go wrong with Ascend or anything else from Kadence.
