You guys and or girls at GoDaddy did a great job with this theme. I have a start up company and I am in the funding phase of my business; so I don’t want to spend to much time working on my website. I do have a minor quandary however…

When I go through the process of customizing the theme, there is the option of changing the site layout between fixed and fluid. I could go either way: The fluid option makes the hero image wide enough to touch both edges of the screen; while the fixed option keeps the four widgets neatly centred at the bottom of the screen.

And there is lies my problem. I want the benefits of both. I don’t mind the, frankly, outdated aspect ratio of the fixed screen layout, but the hero image is cut off instead of scaling appropriately. If I chose the fluid option, the widgets are pushed to the far corners of the screen.

Could someone help me? Is this going to require CSS? It seems like this issue should be fixed from the beginning. I would prefer to keep the layout fixed, while widening the hero image to 100%. I do not, however, want the hero image to get taller.

Also, and this is completely optional, but if there is a way to turn the hero image into a fixed background image, that would be great! Here is an example of what I am looking for: https://codetheweb.blog/demo/full-image-hero/

Hello – we just added a slider to our home page and weren’t able to completely remove the header section. Now there is white space on both the top and bottom of the slider due to the header image section still being there.

After hiding the header image, it was removed from every page on the site, so is there a way to keep a header image on all other pages except for the homepage or move the site title to the middle of the page instead of the right and bold the text?

Lastly, can the top menu remain visible as someone scrolls down the page?

Why is the header image not responsive to be viewed on mobile?
The image (sitting to the left of the copy) completely disappears. Please tell me there is a workaround for this.

No resolution has been offered to any previous comments along these lines — I hope the theme authors have made a fix.

I’ve had a video playing in the Header Hero section for quite some time. After updating wordpress and a few plugins, suddenly the video is no longer bound inside the Hero container. Any idea what could be broken? I don’t really have any custom CSS that would cause this and the video is the size specified. It really breaks the look of my site now…

Using the link I’ve shared, in the menu, hover over ‘Programs & Services’, the drop down menu is so ‘spread out’, that it goes off the page. Is there a way to fix the drop down menu spread so that each page is listed on it’s own line? Thank you for any help.

I’m a complete newbie and hoping someone can assist with a simple custom CSS update in the Additional CSS section to do the following:

1. reduce padding above and below the main navigation/menu (essentially want this white bar to reduce in height)

2. Reduce the height of the image banner on the various web pages by about 30%

3. Also not sure if this is related to the theme, but when I edit the URL slug for the page or permalink structure – it breaks the page and I can not work out how to edit / set it to what I want which is what I set the URL slug to.

On the home page I have tried to change the text in the black header. When I make any changes I get the error “An error has occurred. Please reload the page and try again” When I do this I get the same error when I make another edit.

I suppose the link isn’t going to do much good since it goes to the page in wp-admin, which is where I need help with this, but, anyway…

In Appearance > Customize > Woocommerce > Checkout >

If I select “required”, it re-appears but as “optional”. If I select “optional”, it remains “optional”. If I select “hidden” for the phone field, the phone field does disappear. It appears there is just something wrong with the theme when it comes to making this field optional.

I don’t see it in the customization, I was checking in the style.css but didn’t find a place to change it.

On desktop, you see something like:

Hi, I am having this problem:
I have a site on a host, which has this wordpress theme.
I configured the mail that the host offered me, linked to the page, but i’m having this issue.
When i send this email address by chat with links, for example the instagram chat, I get a description that is a default text that belongs to the subject that I place on the site, and I don’t know how to get it out.
I already tried deleting that section of the site, but it is not modified. The problem is that it does not give a good image that when sending your mail it comes out with a completely random text, so I am avoiding using that mail.
Sorry for the bad english, this is a bit complex to explain.

I’ve got some css that adjusts the height / width of my header, however when making it smaller (less than 100%) it doesn’t seem to reduce in height, rather just stays the same. I could have the wrong code, can someone please check:

width: 100%;
}

I ideally want a thin strip of colour (img) as a header. It’s currently quick thick and pointless bar of colour.

I have switched to different themes and finally found the one that I really like which is the ascension theme. However, just today I noticed the homepage is showing an older (completely different) theme that I had used in the past. I tried deleting the theme which changed it, but it’s still not the ascension theme. This is only visible to the public.

When I am in my dashboard, I see what I should be seeing with the ascension theme for my homepage. I clicked update multiple times, briefly changed the homepage to a different page and then back again to try and “reset” it. Nothing is working…
Is this a theme issue or is it me?

I don’t know how long this has been going on, but I just added a new plugin (Testimonial Rotator) and this is when I noticed the issue. I thought maybe the plugin was interfering with it. Tried deactivating it and nothing changed.

The hero header image displayed on the homepage is perfect, however, when I click on any other pages within the site the header reduces in size and cuts off the image.

I have a private site so the URL is an image of it, but on the homepage I need the website title moved from below the logo to the right of it, so they are side-by-side next to the main menu. I’ve tried adding custom css from similar issues but nothing seems to work.

i am actually testing this theme. It is very fine and easy to use but i have a problem with the hero image on the front-page and the normal pages.

I can set a background image for the hero header – thats fine and works.

When i used a favourite image from a page/post and i want to overwrite the hero header with the img from the page – it doesnt work.

Also if i use the checkbox to overwrite the header with a favourite image, so i have the problem, that on the front-page i always have the last image from the last post for the header and the post.

Can someone help me?

I will use the hero-header for the front-page and on the normal pages/posts i will use the favourite-image for the background ind the hero-header section.

I’m trying to remove the “Featured Image” from the Header of the course as no matter what size I set the image to it get blown out to pixelated proportions. As you can see from the page link (my Beta site) it doesn’t look happy.

Any suggestions on what CSS might hide the featured image it the header?
